Park Shore Waikiki

Here are the pros of the hotel: 1) Excellent location. 2) There's a shop inside that has everything you need for your stay and more. 3) Three cafes on-site where you can have breakfast and lunch. 4) A fantastic balcony with ocean and pool views. 5) Beach towels are changed daily. 6) You can get water and sunscreen at the reception. And here are the cons: 1) Poor room cleaning; they only clean every other day, which isn't enough for a beach vacation. The cleaning is subpar, and sand isn't removed from the room. 2) The towels in the rooms are terrible: dirty and old. 3) The curtains in the rooms are old and dirty – not appealing. 4) The room is small, which is inconvenient for a beach holiday, and there are no slippers provided. 5) The hotel is old, and the rooms could use an update. There's mold on the bathroom ceiling, and the ice machine looks so bad you wouldn't even want to go near it, let alone use the ice from it.

The view here is absolutely stunning; it's the main reason to go! The Diamond Head and ocean views are incredible, something you wouldn't typically find at a 4-star hotel. However, what was disappointing was that housekeeping only came every two days, and while they replaced the towels, it seemed they didn't change the bed sheets. I noticed a stain on the duvet before leaving, and when I returned after housekeeping, the duvet looked tidy, but the stain was still in the exact same spot. Parking cost about $290 for 5 days, and since it's valet, you also have to tip when you get your car, which can be an extra burden. If that's an issue for you, I'd recommend looking for free parking nearby. I just opted for valet because I didn't want the hassle. Waikiki is less than a 10-minute walk away, and most of the staff were very friendly.

The view is nice but if you want to relax in the hotel I don't recommend it.

The location is ideal, very convenient and well located. The view was magnificent, offering a really pleasant and relaxing setting. The service was impeccable, with very professional and attentive staff. An experience that I recommend without hesitation!

The location is very good, close to Waikiki Beach, free sunscreen and towels are provided. Guests can rent beach chairs for free. There is a free nighttime roadside parking nearby.
