Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Waikiki

Great location and incredibly affordable, with good service too. The only minor issue was the air conditioning being a bit noisy. The bed was huge and very clean. You can walk to the beach every day as it's right opposite the hotel.

The location is great, just a short walk to the beach and close to malls, shops, and restaurants. On the first day, we asked for extra paper cups, and every day after that, housekeeping thoughtfully replenished the paper cups and coffee when cleaning the room. The service was attentive and communication was excellent.

Located at the start of Waikiki Beach, to the left you'll find Waikiki Beach and the shopping street, and to the right is Ala Moana, the largest outdoor mall – all within walking distance. Picture 1 shows the bus stop in front of the mall. I used Uber these past few days, so I didn't get to experience the public bus. In front of the hotel is the Hilton lagoon (Picture 2), which is great for kids to play in, as the sand on Waikiki Beach can be a bit coarse. As for the hotel's interior, it's pretty much what you'd expect from an older property. There's a laundry room on the second floor where you can get ice and drinking water. There's also a very small pool. The biggest advantage of this hotel is definitely that they don't charge a resort fee.

Stayed for 3 days, and the room was fully equipped. I was pleasantly surprised to find a microwave in the room, which was incredibly convenient! The location is also great; there's a restaurant right outside (hotel guests get a discount), and the ABC convenience store isn't too far away either.

This is our go-to hotel in Waikiki. They offer luggage storage, and it's easy to call taxis or get food deliveries. The W line bus to the airport stops right outside the hotel. It's an older hotel but always clean, offering great value for money. It's a 10-minute walk to the Hilton and the beach. This year, a hotpot buffet opened right next door, which is pretty good! Also within walking distance to Ala Moana shopping center.
