Whenever I fly from Gatwick back to my home country, this gem of a hotel is my absolute go-to. It's literally inside the terminal, a mere 3-minute walk to the North Terminal. Plus, breakfast starts at 4 AM, which is perfect for early morning flights.

Great convenient hotel right in the terminal - north side - relatively new and very clean

The hotel is located right inside the airport, which makes it super convenient for catching flights. The room was quite spacious, definitely more so than your average London hotel room. Breakfast was included, and while the selection wasn't extensive, it was enough to fill you up. For those with early morning flights, this hotel is a great choice.

The hotel is right inside Gatwick's North Terminal, which was incredibly convenient for our early morning flight. The breakfast was a typical English spread, perfectly acceptable. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helped us sign up for membership, allowing us to check in early. Highly recommended for anyone catching a flight. The attached picture is of Tilgate Forest Park, about a 30-minute bus ride from the airport – it's absolutely beautiful.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Hampton by Hilton Gatwick. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly, professional, and eager to help — check-in was fast and seamless. The room was spotless, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet given how close the hotel is to the terminal. The bed was super comfortable, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the powerful shower, great lighting, and plenty of charging points. The complimentary breakfast was excellent too — lots of choice, fresh food, and great coffee to start the day right before my flight. The location couldn’t be better — it’s directly connected to the North Terminal, making it perfect for early flights or late arrivals. Despite being an airport hotel, it felt calm and relaxing, which made all the difference. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Top-notch service, comfort, and convenience — Hampton by Hilton Gatwick truly sets the standard for airport hotels!

Very good experience, room was really nice and clean. Bed was comfy and shower was nice. I did order food at the bar for my little boy which he enjoyed. The hotel is in the perfect location if you’re travelling from north term, it’s about a minute walk from the easy jet check in desks which was so handy for a really early flight as we didn’t need to go out in the cold. If you’re flying from south there is a shuttle that takes a few minutes. The room comes with complementary breakfast but due to having to check bags in at 3.30 we just missed it. Check in/ out was simple. Can’t think of any negatives and I have actually booked the hotel again for March.

The room was decent. Its main selling point is the superb location; though advertised as 200 meters from Gatwick Airport, it's practically *inside* the North Terminal, making it incredibly convenient for early morning flights. However, the breakfast was a bit of a letdown. It lacked the variety of the Hilton in the South Terminal, offering very limited fruit and vegetable options, and primarily consisting of typical Western breakfast items.

The hotel is quite new, and the facilities are pretty good. Its location directly inside the airport terminal is incredibly convenient – you can check in right after landing without having to haul your luggage around. Service was decent; not overly enthusiastic, but certainly not cold. The room was very clean. Just remember to bring your own slippers, toothbrush, and toothpaste.

The hotel is very well situated, exceptionally clean. Room is very spacious and the bathroom very clean. The only thing which was a let down was unfortunately the breakfast. I feel it ruins the brand. Otherwise very happy

The room was clean and tidy, but not very soundproof; I could clearly hear the TV from the next room. Breakfast was quite mediocre, much worse than the HP by Hilton in central London, with limited variety and only grapefruit for fruit.

The location in the North Terminal was so convenient. The hotel accommodated my early arrival and even upgraded me to a bigger room.

Brilliant location for early flight. Breakfast included and it starts at 4am for early flyers. Would definitely stay there again
