As you know we frequent this hotel each year and on average this hotel/amenities and staff NEVER fail to disappoint. However on this occasion i must point out previously when we have come to check in 30 mins before (3pm check out n) there has never been an issue but on this occasion (anal) we were all made to wait till 3pm to check in, personally i have a feeling that early checkin from 11am charge £10 and they want to push this regardless, but oh well. Sorry to say on this visit the quality of the breakfast was NOT up to par, bacon was (microwaved) undercooked and not pleasing, same could be said for the scrambled egg and sadly not the best breakfast which we have become accustomed to over the past. Placing all this aside exemplary stay yet again and thank you to all the staff for a nice stay

Great location, reasonably priced, comfortable and friendly. We both had a great night's sleep. It was a pleasure being there.

I stay at the Premier Inn twice a year and did a last minute booking. I was shocked at how expensive it is now so we t be using for my next stay next month. A lot of my friends also stay and they have been looking elsewhere this year. The only nice thing was that the hotel was quite empty. The hotel was comfortable as usual but I still struggle getting in and out the shower as the bath is so high, me being only 5ft. The big difference I noticed this time is how the restaurant has gone down hill. A couple next to me were also complaining that it was the worst fish and chips they had ever had. I didn’t bother eating an evening meal there again as there are lots of better alternatives around. I love the hotel for being pretty central but won’t be paying them prices again

Excellent service all round. Easy check in, plenty of parking, even on early arrival 'to coincide with low tide. Good food at attached cookhouse and pub. Can't fault anything.

Stayed here Friday 3rd November 2023 with other members of my family, we were having a night away for the wife's birthday as we have friends who live locally, my sister and her husband arrived before us and my sister had asked for some flowers she had bought my wife to be placed in our room for when we arrived and checked in, this was discussed at check in and the amazing young gentlemen who checked us in wished my wife a happy birthday and also gave her a complementary breakfast, this in itself was a lovely gesture, upon arrival at our room the hotel staff had also placed a box of chocolates and a bottle of champagne in our room with a card saying how they all wished my wife had a great birthday and that they were so happy to have us staying, now this wasn't an expensive gesture but the thought behind it really made my wife's day and she was so pleased, great work by all involved you started what turned out to be a great weekend, my wife has since been telling everyone about the gesture. Thank you premier inn this was fantastic customer service and it really meant a lot, we will not only be staying with you again but we will also be recommending others do too, thanks again :-)

This Premier Inn is in a perfect location and includes free parking for guests. It is just a short walk along the prom to the harbour and town centre but just far enough away so you are not disturbed by noise. The Cookhouse and Pub next door serves some great meals and is nice and relaxing. Of course you are guaranteed a comfy bed and black out curtains for a good nights sleep.

We stayed for 2 nights as a mini break with my partner and baby. To start, I moved the dates forward a day on the app and it caused confusion on check in and at breakfast (this is despite me emailing in advance to check and i changed the dates several weeks before). We arrived around 12pm and asked if we could pay for early check in as we had a baby. We were told to come back in an hour. We came back 2 hours later (to give them a chance to clean the room) and were told we couldn't check in until 3pm which was disappointing. Overall, the room was quite worn and needed to be redone. The carpet was worn, stained and tatty in places, there were small holes in the curtain, the button on the desk lamp was pushed all the way in, the vent in the room was very dusty and the push button on the toilet kept getting stuck so it would flush continually for minutes (annoying at night). We found the bed to be quite hard, the duvet was too heavy for this time of year and the pillows were quite thin. On the second night, we wanted to use the spare pillows but found that the tab (which assures they are clean) had been broken so couldn't use them. The people upstairs were also making a lot of noise but this isn't the hotels fault. We didn't have a comfortable stay and didn't sleep well at all each night (luckily.we bought our own cot so the baby slept fine). We would have discussed this with staff on site but each time the desk was either unmanned or had a queue of people checking in or out. Pros are that the car park is good, it is located in a great spot and we had a sea view (albeit over a dirty roof top).

Staff are amazing. Hotel is not. Mouldy ceiling in the bathroom. Blood all over bedding. Windows don’t open. Wouldn’t book again.
