Stayed here Friday 3rd November 2023 with other members of my family, we were having a night away for the wife's birthday as we have friends who live locally, my sister and her husband arrived before us and my sister had asked for some flowers she had bought my wife to be placed in our room for when we arrived and checked in, this was discussed at check in and the amazing young gentlemen who checked us in wished my wife a happy birthday and also gave her a complementary breakfast, this in itself was a lovely gesture, upon arrival at our room the hotel staff had also placed a box of chocolates and a bottle of champagne in our room with a card saying how they all wished my wife had a great birthday and that they were so happy to have us staying, now this wasn't an expensive gesture but the thought behind it really made my wife's day and she was so pleased, great work by all involved you started what turned out to be a great weekend, my wife has since been telling everyone about the gesture. Thank you premier inn this was fantastic customer service and it really meant a lot, we will not only be staying with you again but we will also be recommending others do too, thanks again :-)

This Premier Inn is in a perfect location and includes free parking for guests. It is just a short walk along the prom to the harbour and town centre but just far enough away so you are not disturbed by noise. The Cookhouse and Pub next door serves some great meals and is nice and relaxing. Of course you are guaranteed a comfy bed and black out curtains for a good nights sleep.

We stayed for 2 nights as a mini break with my partner and baby. To start, I moved the dates forward a day on the app and it caused confusion on check in and at breakfast (this is despite me emailing in advance to check and i changed the dates several weeks before). We arrived around 12pm and asked if we could pay for early check in as we had a baby. We were told to come back in an hour. We came back 2 hours later (to give them a chance to clean the room) and were told we couldn't check in until 3pm which was disappointing. Overall, the room was quite worn and needed to be redone. The carpet was worn, stained and tatty in places, there were small holes in the curtain, the button on the desk lamp was pushed all the way in, the vent in the room was very dusty and the push button on the toilet kept getting stuck so it would flush continually for minutes (annoying at night). We found the bed to be quite hard, the duvet was too heavy for this time of year and the pillows were quite thin. On the second night, we wanted to use the spare pillows but found that the tab (which assures they are clean) had been broken so couldn't use them. The people upstairs were also making a lot of noise but this isn't the hotels fault. We didn't have a comfortable stay and didn't sleep well at all each night (luckily.we bought our own cot so the baby slept fine). We would have discussed this with staff on site but each time the desk was either unmanned or had a queue of people checking in or out. Pros are that the car park is good, it is located in a great spot and we had a sea view (albeit over a dirty roof top).

Staff are amazing. Hotel is not. Mouldy ceiling in the bathroom. Blood all over bedding. Windows don’t open. Wouldn’t book again.

We both arrived at these premises on Sunday April the 14th, we were quickly given the key to room 121 on the first floor, the room was very spacious and appeared to be very clean with modern themed decor, it also had a great shower, great WiFi and a bit of a sea view, the bed was also extremely comfortable and we both had a great sleep, we both would have no problem in recommending these premises to anyone visiting the area.

Stayed here with my family & really enjoyed our stay Perfect location to all amusements & local restaurants on the beach front. Very welcoming & helpful staff. We ate breakfast here both mornings we stayed & we was very impressed at the variety on offer & how nice it was cooked everything tasted fresh & staff was very organised. We had a family room very spacious extremely clean with clean fresh towels & Wi-Fi accessible throughout the hotel too. Throughout our stay when in our room it was extremely peaceful. We would like to thank all the staff especially the two ladies on reception for making our stay a wonderful & relaxing experience. We will definitely be coming back again.

Customer service was horrendous staff were vey pushy and impatient ordered food and they walked away without mentioning that they didn’t have the main ingredient when we asked for it they told us they didn’t have any and the member of staff was quite blaze as if they didn’t care. Won’t go back.
