Marseille Hotels with Hot Tub

"First, the positives: The breakfast was fantastic, and the coffee was great, which is a rare find at this price point. The room had a kettle, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The hotel is a convenient 10-minute walk to the Old Port. The lobby offered free coffee and croissants. I was really worried about service staff in France only speaking French, but everyone at this hotel spoke excellent English. Now for the issues I encountered: Initially, I was given a room on the fourth floor. When I pulled back the covers, I found a significant amount of hair on the pillows, which seemed to be a mix of human and animal hair (this hotel is pet-friendly). Lifting the duvet revealed even more hair, making it seem like the cleaning staff hadn't changed the bedding at all. The front desk immediately offered me another room on the same floor. After moving my luggage, I still found a small amount of hair when I pulled back the covers in the new room. I then asked the front desk for a fresh set of sheets and duvet covers. They offered to move me again, this time to a room on the 6th floor. This room was much better, but the pillowcases had yellow stains on all four corners. I requested new pillowcases from the front desk and changed them myself. One minor concern: The hotel isn't on the main street and is a bit close to the train station, which made me slightly uneasy walking around at night."

"Location is good, close to metro, have restaurants and supermarket nearby. Room is clean and spacious, and there is kitchen facilities that you can prepare meals. Staff are helpful. The downside is, the bed (mattress) is hollow (curved) not comfortable; and our room seems to have some odors (like sewage) from time to time."

"I really enjoyed my stay at Hôtel Marsiho. Its central location made exploring Marseille easy, and the warm, friendly service stood out. The rooms were clean and cozy—compact, but comfortable. The décor felt modern and inviting, and I loved the complimentary coffee and good-value breakfast. Overall, a great city‑break base."

"The hotel is just next to the Marseille train station and very convenience to go around the city. The airport bus is also inside the train station. Just 40 mins away from the airport. Just about 20 mins walk to the fish market and city centre and some of the sightseeing spots. The little kitchen inside the room is also very nice as we did some cooking during our stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. Recommended... 👍👍"

"This place is very basic and I feel like I overpaid given my experience. First it is close enough to a dance club that you can hear the music and patrons. In my case that was until 5:15 am when I got up for an early morning train. The shower is handheld and not mounted to the wall so it is a bit like bathing with a hose. No working elevator and the stairs were not built evenly so walking up and down them risks a fall or turned ankle. The thing this place has going for it is it’s proximity to the marina and it is a reasonable walk from the train station."
