Days Inn by Wyndham Houston

I had a great stay! Days inn could use some improvements but I enjoyed my stay comfortably with no problems one thing I will note out tho I feel as if the double sided doors are weird at the stay that the only thing that makes me feel uncomfortable

Do you really want to spend your money in a establishment that only values your money? They will take your money and treat you like 💩

The room was nasty, toliet leaking, no smoke detectors, gap around the door, remote didnt work, smeeled horrible including the lobby. Just overall not impressed.

Absolutely horrible customer service and a scam. Needed to extend my stay for 1 day and was told i would have to either pay an additional $30 for early check in, or check out at 11am and check in at 2pm. Ive never had a hotel do that.

The towels were dirty. The bed sheets were stained. The room wasn't cleaned daily. Breakfast was inadequate. There was no water, cheese, or bread at breakfast. The room lights were broken. The room window wouldn't open.

The towels and washcloths had stains on them. Roaches everywhere (in the bathroom and one crawled near my head) The shower didn’t work our whole stay so we had to take bird baths. Went to front desk to ask for a new Room but they said they didn’t have any more which I feel like was a lie because there wasn’t even cars parked and the hotel was quiet. I hated my stay and want my money back!

Refrigerator didn't work at all. Anything that we bought went bad because it never turned on. The ice machine was also broken so there was no way to keep anything cold or drink anything cold. The room has handmade reparations that looked terrible, the toilet top cover was all cracked and seemed to be glued together by hand and not even painted over. Besides that we were never given new towels during our entire stay and the room smelled like mold and humidity. The AC unit was extremely loud and sounded like it was going to break any second. The pictures online by no means properly depicted how bad the rooms of this hotel truly are. The prices are cheap but clients should have a better idea of what to expect when booking here instead of having a false idea of what they are coming to.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the front desk staff and assisted promptly. The staff member who helped me was polite and professional, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the condition of the room was unacceptable. Upon entering, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The sink appeared dirty, and the linens did not look clean. Within less than ten minutes of being in the room, I noticed movement in the corner of my eye and realized it was a roach. Shortly after, I began seeing smaller roaches appear as well. At that point, I was extremely uncomfortable and immediately decided to leave the room. The staff member at the front desk was helpful and assisted me with processing a refund, which I appreciated. However, due to the condition of the room and the apparent roach infestation, this location is unfortunately on my list of places I will not return to. The property would benefit from a thorough restoration and proper pest control to address these issues.

The floors and bathroom were physically dirty. Like boot prints on the floor . Crumbs, and debris. ROACHES. But the safe was kind and I appreciate kindness. Just hire better housekeepers that actually MOP and scrub, instead of just change linens and make the bed.
