Crowne Plaza Houston Med Ctr-Galleria Area by IHG

Kaylee, Kevin & Tank offered me good customer service. The hotel location was key! The restaurant was closed so I ordered Door Dash also purchase snacks from their gift store. Room was comfy however this hotel could use a new set of towels. Bed & Pillows very comfortable. Safe Location & Effortless check out.

It was pretty mediocre to be honest. I paid 17 dollars for breakfast and it was the same bland buffet every day and there were even flies in the buffet area. The server woman was really rude as well. Extremely low hospitality for a place like crowne plaza

Nicely appointed clean rooms. Excellent service and parking garage is good albeit expensive. Food is ok but nothing special. Beside a busy motorway (no noise) but not much ambiance. Nice neighborhood on the back side though. Can recommend Slowpoke cafe just a 5 minute walk away

The rooms were clean and the staff was nice but the hotel itself has issues. You can tell from the retro fitted outlets it’s an older hotel that’s been renovated. When we arrived one of the elevators were block off & broken down but 3 others were working. Our first night the air conditioning unit in half of the hotel went out and we woke up at 4:30 with our room 80 degrees and humid. They did move us to another room for the rest of our stay, so that was acceptable. It was a rough start but overall a pleasant experience.

What's noteworthy about this hotel is that they didn't refund the deposit as promised. My USD 117 deposit has not been returned until today (it’s been almost 2 months). They only promised to follow up on the case, but to date, nothing has been done.
