The location is decent, but the soundproofing isn't great. There are many private parking lots nearby, and also a government-run parking lot about a 5-minute walk away. They also have a partnership with a breakfast place where you can use meal vouchers.

The price is affordable. The room had a musty smell and the facilities were old. The toilet seat had a crack. There are stairs on the first floor, but the hotel provides a ramp for wheelchair users to borrow. It's very basic and simple.

Very close to Tsinghua University, and the area around is quite lively. The facilities are basic, but it's clean. Breakfast is a collaboration with a nearby breakfast shop, and you can even pre-order via LINE. Overall, I'd say the stay was good.

The staff were very friendly. The water pressure was excellent. For breakfast, we received vouchers for a local breakfast shop, which was a bit of a walk away. However, there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, which was quite convenient.

The room had small bugs and a lot of dust. On the balcony, there was a whole cup of betel nut residue left by the previous guest.

The row of green trees outside the window offers a very pleasant view! The room is clean and tidy, and there's enough space to lay out luggage. It's a shame the air conditioning blows directly onto your head, and you can't adjust the airflow to a suitable direction. Otherwise, it would have been super comfortable!

This is a very basic hotel. The beds and bathroom were actually quite clean, though you can tell it's a bit old. However, you get a $60 discount for parking at the Chituqi Parking Lot diagonally across the street, and each person also gets a $65 breakfast voucher (the breakfast shop is just across the road). It's perfectly fine for a simple stay of a few days.

There are two The Richmont Hotel branches in Hsinchu, so be careful not to confuse them. Many online searches for 'The Richmont Hotel' will bring up the other one, so you might mistake it for this one. This particular branch is very basic, but at least it has a bathtub 🛀.
