The hotel's setting is truly lovely. On a clear day after the rain, you can enjoy distant views of the reservoir, and there are geese and ducks by the small lake in the garden. The non-motorized children's play facilities are also well-maintained. However, the rooms are a bit on the small side, and the decor isn't quite up to 5-star standard. The big slide at the children's water park has very limited operating hours. What's more, a relatively easy slide surprisingly requires kids to be over 1.5 meters tall to use, which frankly underestimates how capable children are in the water these days.

It's not as good as it used to be; I was quite disappointed this time. They used to have an inflatable castle, outdoor activities for kids (and it's summer vacation now!), and fishing, but all of that is gone. Right at the entrance, there was a discarded piece of paper, full of hair and fingernail clippings. The complimentary Wild Duck Lake was closed due to flood control, and we weren't informed in advance. Instead, we got tickets to a 'Desert Movie Scenic Area,' which was a complete rip-off. They don't even charge an entrance fee; once inside, you just pay for dune buggy rides and camel rides – there's nothing else there. The go-kart track was swarming with mosquitoes (possibly venomous ones), so we couldn't even use it. Sigh...

Facilities: The hotel offers excellent facilities. The kids absolutely loved the children's playground, swimming pool, and water park. Cleanliness: The hotel was very clean, and our room was spotless. Environment: Surrounded by mountains, the views were beautiful. It was incredibly relaxing to stand on the balcony. Service: ZOEY from the front desk provided warm and thoughtful service. She was particularly attentive to the needs of children and seniors, which we greatly appreciated!

The hotel is incredibly convenient, with easy parking. The surroundings are beautiful, and the nearby reservoir is a lot of fun to explore. It's also a fantastic place for families with kids. Overall, I highly recommend staying here. Whether you prefer to relax at the hotel or venture out to explore the surroundings, it's a perfect choice. Highly recommended!

The resort offers stunning views, and the rooms are basic but spotlessly clean. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were very convenient. The thoughtful retractable clothesline in the bathroom was perfect for drying swimwear. The kids absolutely loved the swimming pool and the Fun Castle, while the Water World is better suited for toddlers. Overall, a great choice for families traveling with children.

We first visited this hotel in 2021 with our son, who was quite young then. Our main criterion for a hotel was an all-inclusive, one-stop experience – meaning once we were there, all our dining, drinking, and entertainment needs were met! #Stay Experience The hotel is located in Huailai, nestled amidst mountains and water, offering fresh air. Its castle-like architecture is incredibly photogenic. It's also conveniently close to numerous attractions, including Yudu Mountain, the Great Wall, Wild Duck Lake, and Longqing Gorge. The hotel boasts a wealth of family-friendly facilities. There's a small indoor children's playground complete with a ball pit, slides, trampolines, and more. They also have an outdoor children's playground. Activities like the mini-train (60 RMB for two adults and one child) and go-karts (50 RMB for 5 minutes) offer plenty of fun options. Indoors, there's also a large water park featuring slides of various sizes. They even have a foam party at 4 PM! Please note that two of the larger slides have a height restriction of 1.5 meters. At the water park entrance, you can also rent electric water guns for 1.5 RMB per minute. This was our second stay here, and the front desk staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even upgraded our room this time, and as members, we received two complimentary drink coupons – fantastic! The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety of options, including congee, noodles, wontons, jianbing (which were delicious), roujiamo, duck blood vermicelli soup (also delicious and very generous with ingredients), cold dishes, fruits, bread, and much more. It truly caters to diverse palates. This hotel is perfectly suited for family trips, offering an absolutely fantastic experience! You can't go wrong bringing your kids here. The only minor drawback is that the water park and pool relaxation areas have too few lounge chairs and no shelves for belongings, which was a bit inconvenient.
