Cloud Top Landscape Hotel

The owner personally welcomed us to the hotel and treated us as if we were his own kids. Breakfast was delicious (and too much to finish). The view was absolutely stunning in the morning and the rooms were comfortable and cool with aircon. Free car parking js readily available for the number of guests the “hotel” can accommodate, highly recommended for drivers. There is a night market nearby that is quite famous and the owner has a van that he kindly offered to fetch us to and fro where we wanted to go. The pet dog was adorable too. Just becareful of the very narrow route on the way up and down, requires a little bit of skill especially at night!

The host and the staff are very nice. They help me with the luggage, parking and drive the car to the foot of the mountain. The host even gave me souvenir, a bag of snacks and tea. The room is spacious and clean. The hotel is on the top of the mountain so you can overlook the city center of Hualien.

I had such a lovely stay here. The place is very clean, and the room is spacious with beautiful views. Even though I arrived quite late, the owner kindly picked me up from the station and prepared dinner for me, which meant so much. The next morning, they also served a wonderful breakfast. I felt truly cared for and would definitely stay again.

It is basically a mansion sitting in an exclusive neighbourhood. The location is excellent! It sits on high ground overlooking the city and you can view the sunrise from the balcony early in the morning. At night you can sit outside the garden and watch the city lights while sipping on a cold beer. The best thing about the place is the owner. He was very hospitable and drove us into town and back! In the morning we had a 5 course breakfast before setting off.

Owner is very helpful and friendly, sure I will come back again.

This is an amazing place to stay for all traveler types. You can travel here solo or with family/friends. Upon arrival, I was checked into my room. Jimmy (the owner) gave a warm welcome along with a gift. The room was comfortable and clean. It even had a balcony where you can sit and overlook the whole city. Jimmy and his staff are very kind. They provided excellent service, and the breakfast was tasty and nutritious. The city doesn’t have the best transportation, but Jimmy was kind enough to drive me into the city and pick me up whenever I was finished. When I checked out, I was given a box of tea—a wonderful gift for the upcoming Chinese New Year. All in all, I would rate this place a 12/10. It’s not only a place to stay, but it made me feel right at home. The plus side is the cute dog, Ao Hua. She is friendly and playful.
