Facilities: Pretty new and good value for money.
Cleanliness: The bedding and common areas were quite clean, I slept very comfortably.

Be careful of bedbugs! Room 212. So many insect bites, itchy red bumps after staying there. Need to sterilize and heat everything!

Be aware that there's no elevator! Not recommended for those with mobility issues.

Good location. 5 mins walk to the main bus and train stations, but a little far from the central area on foot, about 15-20 mins walk. Close to quite a lot of restaurants and cafés.
The room was okay, quite clean overall, but my room was on the 4th floor and there was no elevator, so I had to take the stairs every day.
The staff was quite friendly and helpful. The wifi could be improved.

It's close to Hualien Station, about a 5-minute walk away, but the entrance is not very wide, so be careful. Lockers with keys are available.
The staff were friendly and all facilities were clean.
There is a common space next to the reception, but it is not face-to-face, so it may be a little difficult to talk to other guests.
My bed was a double and spacious, but there was only one power outlet, so I couldn't use the bed lamp and adapter at the same time.
