Hualien Wow Hostel

The room has a private bathroom, which is large and clean. The room itself is also a good size. The only issue is that when the curtain is drawn, the air conditioning doesn't reach the room, so it feels quite hot. The breakfast was decent though.

This hostel is super easy to get to and very centrally located. The beds were really comfortable too. Even though our room had its own bathroom, there was also another shared bathroom available for everyone down the hall. The locker was big enough for my entire backpack. There was also a water dispenser on every floor. The interior design was lovely, and I particularly liked the paintings on each floor. There was also a kitchen available if you wanted to prepare something, but breakfast was provided anyway.

The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk directly across from the station. There are also plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so you have lots of dining options. The hostel lobby is really well-decorated, and there's free coffee and milk tea available, which was perfect for relaxing while waiting to check-in before 3 PM. The room was a four-person dorm with a private bathroom, and my stay was very pleasant. They offer free breakfast, but the selection is a bit limited – mainly just bread with different jams and ham. I had a wonderful time in Hualien! I hope to come back here again someday.

This hostel is good quality with excellent service. It's really close to the train and bus stations. It's rare to find a hostel with double beds! Plus, they offer complimentary coffee, milk tea, and green tea – a great selection!

This is the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. The only good thing about it is the location. The upper bunk creaked loudly with every movement, and the hairdryer was ancient, requiring constant button pressing while barely producing any air.

Right opposite Hualien Station, this is an incredibly convenient location! It’s perfect whether you’re traveling solo or with a few friends. The prices are reasonable, the facilities are complete, and a simple breakfast is even included. The common area is spacious, making it very convenient for a group of friends to chat and eat together in the lounge. We even met the owner when we were checking out, and they were so nice, even helping us take a group photo. I'm really grateful for the owner's dedication over so many years. With tourism in Hualien declining recently, it's truly commendable that they've managed to persevere and continue providing such a great place for travelers to rest. Thank you so much! 🙏
