The view from the Skylight Room is truly unbeatable! Especially the spacious outdoor balcony, which overlooks the entire valley. Watching the sunset at dusk and sitting on the balcony to gaze at the stars at night—an unforgettable experience for a lifetime. The hotel chef is extremely talented; being able to enjoy such exquisite meals at the top of Mount Huangshan was a wonderful surprise. Both breakfast and dinner were exceptionally refined. The young lady at the restaurant was so warm and enthusiastic, proactively introducing the dishes. The dining atmosphere was relaxed and cozy, making it feel just like eating at home. It happened to be my birthday, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a surprise—they gave me a small gift and a birthday cake, everyone sang the birthday song together, and they even prepared longevity noodles, plus a fried egg specially made for breakfast. It was full of thoughtful little touches. The butler was attentive and helpful, always responsive to our needs, and planned our itinerary to perfection. We had initially worried that getting up and down the mountain would be exhausting, but the entire journey was actually very comfortable, providing an exceptional experience. The hotel also has a staff photographer who proactively helps guests take pictures, and the photos turn out stunningly Instagram-worthy.

Even though the weather wasn't great during the National Day holiday, the 'Flower Shadow' room we stayed in had a fantastic layout with a large balcony. It was quite cold outside due to the rain, but the common areas were nice and warm. The prices were a bit high, but the environment and service were excellent. We also enjoyed afternoon tea and met the adorable dog, Beibei.

Staying at Shilin Cliff House truly exceeded my expectations! The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly attentive, making me feel right at home. The butler helped us book tickets, cable car passes, bus tickets, and even arranged for porters and sedan chairs, which was a huge convenience. It happened to be my birthday during our stay, and the hotel even prepared a small gift for me, which was a lovely surprise. The location is absolutely perfect, away from the crowded tourist areas, offering peace and quiet. There are also adorable little parrots and a dog at the hotel, which were very therapeutic to watch. I had a very comfortable stay and highly recommend it!

The location and environment are absolutely stunning. However, I booked the basic 'Tingxue' room, which was quite small. It was mainly for an overnight stay on the mountain. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great during my visit, so I missed both the sunset and sunrise. Still, the misty, cloud-shrouded scenery had its own unique charm and was quite delightful. As for other aspects, the dinner felt like experiencing Michelin-level service right on the mountain. Ink-wash clouds and mist, peaks half-hidden, watching the sea of clouds from a mountain dwelling – a moment of pure, serene joy in this world.

Facilities: The hotel only has nine uniquely designed rooms. Cleanliness: Upon arrival, the Huaying Room wasn't ready, so we were upgraded to the Tianjing Room, which offered a magnificent view. Environment: Perched on Huangshan's peak, with clouds swirling, it's the most beautiful mountain scenery I've seen since Dayi Valley. The only challenge is the half-hour stone-stepped mountain path to and from the cable car, which isn't suitable for those who don't exercise regularly. My calves were sore for days afterward, haha. Service: There are many unique experience programs, such as tea ceremonies and incense burning. The staff at the restaurant were also very warm and welcoming. Considering the inconveniences of being high up in the mountains, the service was impeccable.

Every staff member at the hotel contributed to our comfortable stay, and a special shout-out to the Huangshan books in the room! Any reasonable request was met with ease. Looking forward to returning when it snows in winter!

The location is undeniably perfect, right at Lion Forest, making it super convenient for catching both sunrise and sunset. Since there aren't many people around, the room was really quiet. I absolutely loved the big balcony facing the majestic mountains, and I even saw squirrels hopping among the branches – that view alone is worth at least 3,000 yuan, in my opinion! 😂 However, the room rate of nearly 7,000 yuan felt a bit inflated, probably due to it being peak summer season. On the other hand, the butler service was very warm and enthusiastic. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. I left my phone charger in the room, and they kindly mailed it back to me. If I ever get the chance again, I'd love to see Huangshan in the snow.

Perfect for those looking to deeply explore Huangshan! ⛰️ This hotel offers a great sense of privacy, and the overall atmosphere was incredibly comfortable. They also have a wide range of activities, including traditional Chinese block printing, Chinese painting, and tea ceremony, all of which were very interesting and helped me slow down to truly experience the culture and lifestyle of Huangshan. The hotel's food was delicious too. Overall, a fantastic experience, highly recommended! Plus, the hotel is very close to 'Monkey Gazing at the Sea' (Houzi Guanhai), so if you want to catch the sunrise, you don't have to wake up super early. It's truly convenient.
