Huangshan Mountain is also a homestay

I stayed 3 nights at this homestay. The owner was very helpful, especially with pickup and drop off to Huangshan for my early morning hike. The room is large, clean and the bed is very comfortable. I ordered boiled eggs for my breakfast and had 2 delicious dinners. The owner is a pretty good cook too. Highly recommended for a homestay.

Owner is very kind and knowledgable. Helped me plan my trip, provided all gear needed for a winter summit of Huangshan, and explained multiple possible routes. He also drove me to and from Tangkou for meals, and for hiking. Very reliable. Room was clean and the bathtub was super nice after a long day of hiking. Projector and screen worked well, and overall everything was very clean and nice.

the homestay owner was very kind and drove us to/from the bus station, helped us buy tickets on WeChat/in-person, explained possible hiking routes, and provided us with a convenient map that had interesting sights labelled. The route he recommended was very doable and scenic. The room was comfortable, and it was very relaxing to watch a movie with the projector after hiking. You can also purchase food here, which is convenient and tasty. I highly recommend this homestay for the very kind, experienced, and considerate advice of the owner who made our visit smooth and convenient.

The best 4 days ever! Highly recommend this hotel! We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination! On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient. I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant. Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it! The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed. The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey. There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times. The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes. A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather! The owner speaks basic English, and even though it wasn’t easy for him, he patiently explained everything to us in English with so much kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable — even helped us search for a lost phone in the mountains! He also called us in advance before our arrival to confirm our plans and helped arrange a transfer to the train station after check-out. We wish him and his family good health, happiness, and prosperity. He and this hotel deserve not just 5 stars, but 1000! Wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. It was wonderful experience to stay at this hotel, specially because of hotel owner 徐勇亮. We were greeted with extraordinary hospitality and friendliness. I was with a large group of friends, only two of whom could speak Chinese, but that didn't bother me as the owner knew English too. We will miss this trip very much and remember it with warm feelings. I hope I will come here again!
