The hotel offers complimentary hiking poles and mineral water, and the front desk service is excellent. They can help arrange carpooling to the high-speed train station and provide shuttle service to transfer points, saving a lot of time. There's a convenience store nearby downstairs, which is very handy for buying things. If I come back to climb Huangshan, I'd still choose this hotel.

Free transfer to the mountain base. Even though it was only a 2-minute drive, having the pickup is really appreciated after a long climb up! Room is clean. Staff are friendly and helped to arrange for a shared taxi to Huangshan North railway station for 35 RMB

The hotel offers a free shuttle to the drop-off point for morning hikes and can help arrange shared rides from Huangshan North Station to the hotel for 40 RMB per person. Great location and really good value, am very happy we stayed in Tangkou town as it was close to the shuttle buses up to the mountain. We stayed one night and the area was bustling at night with lots of places to eat and stock up before going up the mountain as well as some kind of local festival/performance but not sure if that was a special occasion. The room was very nice and the bathroom was very comfortable. Great shower with decent pressure and can’t understate the comfort of the heated toilet seat after a big day of travel. Decent simple breakfast buffet which was more than enough to prepare us for the day ahead of hiking. There was also a driver that helped us get closer to the shuttle buses from the hotel but it wasn’t too far anyway. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was spacious and there was free parking. They offer a complimentary shuttle to the Xiaoyaoxi transfer point, which only takes five minutes. Coming down from the mountain, you can walk to the hotel in five minutes from Tangkou Bridge, or call them for a pick-up. Free hiking poles are provided. The only downside is that there aren't many dining options nearby.
