Mild Spring boutique Inn (Tunxi Old Street/Liyang in Alley)

This hotel exceeded all our expectations! Let’s start with the hosts, who messaged us in advance and arranged a pick up from the train station (which was very convenient and cheaper than Didi). They also answered all of our questions and helped us with our luggage. The room was very beautiful and clean. The bed very soft. I wish we had booked the room for longer and get to Huangshan from there. The hotel itself is amazing, it has a great balcony where you can observe the street and the decor is tasteful. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The hotel is situated very close to Tunxi road, there are shops, cafés and lovely bars with live music further down the street. Also what was extremely helpful and nice from the owner : he was explained us how to navigate the mountain and gave us important tips. We received a map mafe by him with instructions based on the kind of hike we wanted to have. With this information, we had a successful adventure on the Huangshan mountain. When I come to Tunxi next time I will definitely book the same hotel again, it is by far the prettiest and the most welcoming hotel we have visited. Thank you again for this experience!

Decided to book our stay at this hotel after seeing the good reviews. The inn owner messaged us On the day of our check-in, giving us instructions to their inn, very proactive. When we almost missed the location, she came out to call us. 😅 Check-in was very smooth, even gave us lovely Huangshan Maofeng tea to try and some tea snacks and patiently explained to us on the different features of our family room. 3 words: service was impeccable. The inn owner was also very helpful, sharing with us tips on how to plan/arrange our follow-up trip up Huangshan. Very clean room with sufficient power points and love the homeliness of the room given. The breakfast was simple but good.

Had a fantastic stay! Room was very cozy and was super convenient, right amongst all the stores and shops in the touristy area. It's also a quick walk (1-2 blocks) to some more local spots. The staff were all extremely warm and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic!! The boss was super helpful in providing a straightforward itinerary for huangshan, you can borrow a hiking stick as well. Also highly recommend getting a driver to receive you---it made arriving at night much more comfortable.

I am very grateful for my stay at this hotel. The room was incredibly beautiful and comfortable. Everything necessary was provided and of good quality: a power adapter, convenient sockets, a refrigerator, a good hair dryer, and toiletries. It was warm and cozy, and the room was heated before my arrival (I was traveling in early February). The breakfasts were delicious, fresh, and traditional. The owner and hostess kindly treated me to tea, answered all my questions, and helped with transfer and taxi arrangements. I would be happy to come back again. Possibly one of our favourite stays in China. The rooms are spacious with separate shower/bathroom. Great free breakfast. The staff were so so lovely, they helped us plan our yellow mountains trip and let us wash our clothes for free
