Ancient City Ak Homestay

It's great value for money, and the owner is very nice; they even upgraded us! It just so happened that we encountered fishing boats coming ashore, so the surrounding area smelled a bit fishy.

The hotel has convenient parking and is very close to the Tianhou Temple in the ancient city. The room is large and spacious, with a single bed that is 1.35 meters wide. There are backlights at the head of the bed, so it's not pitch black at night. There was no unpleasant odor in the room. The receptionist was very helpful. The only downside was the poor soundproofing. The two people next door kept talking, as if they were in the same room, and they didn't stop until after 11 pm.

The environment is new, the price is reasonable, and the beach is right downstairs, making it very convenient for sightseeing.

The guesthouse was in a great location, just around the corner from Xisha Bay when the tide is low, and very close to the lighthouse. There was also a Tin Hau Temple nearby. It was just a regular guesthouse, but the price doubled or tripled during holidays. The sheets had yellow stains, making it very unsettling to sleep. They also charged a 100 yuan deposit for the stay, and they checked the room upon check-out.

This hotel experience was fantastic! Check-in was quick and smooth. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept soundly all night. The breakfast had a wide variety of options and tasted amazing. The location is also excellent, with convenient transportation, shopping, and dining options nearby. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town!

In my opinion, this guesthouse has two main advantages: firstly, it has an elevator, which is convenient for the elderly, children, and travelers with heavy luggage; secondly, the location is excellent, very close to the old town and right next to the sea, where you can actually fish from the window – the large floor-to-ceiling windows are fantastic. While the facilities of a guesthouse may not be as luxurious as a star-rated hotel, its strong value for money makes it highly recommended!

The Wi-Fi is malfunctioning. Everything else is fine.

It looks newly renovated, but the bathroom smells terrible. The sewage system is faulty, and the receptionist doesn't know anything about it.
