The room was incredibly spacious, like getting a private room for hostel prices – really great! The bathroom was clean and hygienic, which is something many hotels struggle with. The owner was very thoughtful and provided disposable toiletries, so you can check in with peace of mind. The apartment complex is conveniently located, close to both the airport and the train station, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, making it very accessible. The owner even recommended local food spots, which was a huge plus! The only minor flaw was a slight issue with the electrical outlets, which affected charging a bit.

I booked the cheapest small room, and the owner proactively greeted me, helped with my luggage, and upgraded me to a quiet twin room—a bedroom with a balcony in a three-bedroom apartment. Disposable toothbrushes, toilet seat covers, mosquito coils, etc., were all provided. The other guests were indeed very quiet. The location is also excellent; the ancient city's commercial street is downstairs, making it convenient for dining and shopping. It's also close to the train station and airport, and within walking distance of the Hexi morning market. For the price, it's worth the conditions. Although the furnishings are simple and not as refined as some hostels, and it's not a traditional hostel dormitory room, wouldn't it be better to stay in a single room for the price of a dormitory room? If I had to point out a drawback, I'd suggest fixing the door frame properly. Also, there's no elevator on the third floor, and the building is a bit hard to find. The property management in the complex isn't very good.
