Wonderful Hotel, lovely staff especially Elly on reception. Food and bar were excellent, Room was great and the bed very comfortable, easy to park and situated in the centre of town.

Such a lovely stay at The Three Swans. Very comfortable and a gorgeous room. Take care if you're tall as the room may have a low ceiling but it adds to the character of the old building. Great location too

Lovely hotel, old building- and location is central. Parking was hard to find but Dan talked me through it over the phone. I had some brunch (mushroom on toast with egg) was delicious but portion could have been bigger, the walls between my room and next were thin so I could hear my neighbours who were very loud all night and then in the morning and the mattress was too hard so sleep was not great. And the dining option was not available to me later that evening as the kitchen closed early.

We only stayed one night to attend a funeral but it would have been nice to stay a bit longer. We had a superb dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed a quiet and comfortable night. The hot breakfast was very tasty and freshly cooked to order. All the staff were courteous and efficient.

Beautiful bedroom, with separate bathroom with a freestanding bath! Really lovely anniversary treat, we also requested a later check out time which was accommodated no problem. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend

Most of our stay at The Three Swans was quite positive altho suffered from lack of staff. There was one person serving breakfast on Saturday morning who, altho very efficient and calm, was obviously under pressure and the service was slow.
The bedroom was too hot and noisy but the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the room was not clean enough - lots of dust & cobwebs in evidence as was a dirty door in the bathroom.

A very nice hotel. Good food. Friendly staff. Some rooms can get traffic noise from the main road at the front and some of the back rooms apparently can get noise from drinkers on the back terrace in warm weather. Neither should be a problem in cool weather with windows closed.
