Hurghada Marriott Beach Resort

On the first day, our room had a leak. We were so annoyed that we went to stay in Sahl Hasheesh instead. The hotel handled the issue professionally, and we were satisfied with the resolution. It's very clean, and if you're staying in downtown Hurghada, this is a good option. The food was decent, and the Italian restaurant was quite good.

The sea view rooms are separated by a single door, and behind the door in the picture is the next room. You can hear everything the neighbors say at night, crystal clear! There were flies and mosquitoes, and a fly greeted us as soon as we checked in. Most guests are white, and some staff members ignore Asian guests. Think twice before choosing a standard sea view room!!!

The hotel was generally clean and had a private beach. However, the service was subpar. The Wi-Fi in my room wasn't working on the night I checked in, and despite multiple trips to the front desk and phone calls, no one came to fix it. The night shift receptionist was dismissive, promising to come check the room immediately but never showing up or providing any explanation. It took repeated requests on the second day for someone to finally come and verify the issue, which led to us having to switch rooms. Not a good experience overall.

Private beach access and breathtaking ocean views are unbeatable. The room was spacious and clean with a full sea-view balcony. Breakfast didn't have a huge variety, but there was enough to eat. The pool was massive. It's about 5km from the fish market. Although the facilities show their age a bit, they are well-maintained. Excellent value for money, making it the perfect choice if you don't want an all-inclusive resort. The pizza at the Italian restaurant was really good!

This booking offered excellent value for money. Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, they are generally very well-maintained. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly; on the day of check-in, the front desk attendant personally escorted us to our room. Because I was exhausted from diving the day before, I requested a late check-out, and after checking availability, the staff readily agreed.

The hotel facilities have clearly been renovated and improved. The room layout is well-designed, and you can see the sea from both sides of the hallway. The only downside is that the beach is relatively small. I hope they add some activities by the sea.

Marriott never disappoints me. Although it might be an older property that's been around for a while, and occasionally I encounter minor issues with the facilities, they always swiftly offer a room change. The breakfast also lived up to my expectations. Overall, it was a good stay.
