It was incredible, truly magnificent. Top-notch service. The resort is beautiful, with multiple private beaches and pools. The decor is very pretty, and the staff are adorable. Excellent restaurant.

I liked the hotel; it was quite aesthetic, and the food was satisfying. However, I didn't like the room. It was very dark with poor lighting, making it impossible to do my makeup. Overall, it was hard to see anything. Also, the floor in the room felt unpleasant. On the plus side, there was a great storage area, the room was spacious, and it had a lovely balcony. Another downside was the poor soundproofing. When parties were happening, I could hear everything in my room, which was disruptive if I wanted to go to bed early.

what's good: 18+ adults only. No kids, almost no elderly guests or Asian faces. The facilities are incredibly comprehensive. Besides the buffet restaurant that changes its menu daily, the Greek restaurant is available for reservations every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, and the Asian restaurant every Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Plus, there are 4 or 5 bars! Every day was spent eating, playing, and sleeping. The facilities are great, and all the following are free: tennis, table tennis, swimming, basketball, soccer, and yoga. The hotel's entertainment team is so much fun, organizing all sorts of activities every day and incredibly enthusiastic! what's to be improved: 1. Both the check-in and check-out front desk staff were very impatient. 2. I can understand the noise from the party themed nights; however, there's a construction site next to the hotel with drilling from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM every day, which is just too loud! 3. The hotel charges extra for sailing and paddleboarding, and the price is ten times higher than outside the hotel. They also frequently come to the beach to push sales, and their attitude is quite poor.

Meraki is the place to be in Hurghada!! I've seen reviews claiming that Chinese people experience ******, but from what I observed, it seems more like a cultural difference. Westerners are less impatient; they'll wait for a waiter, and they're more inclined to socialize and chat with strangers. In contrast, Easterners tend to be more rushed and prefer to stick to their own groups rather than mingling. This can lead them to feel overlooked or neglected by waiters. However, if you just sit patiently, greet the waiters first, and play along with their jokes, they'll become more approachable, ask if you need anything, and generally be very friendly!!! As a Korean woman who takes her food seriously, I was happily carrying my plate and two cups when 3-4 waiters rushed over to offer help. I even ended up in an 'older brother-younger sister' relationship with the guy who poured drinks, lol. On weekends, they even have a club, everyone is friendly, and the menu changes every meal, so it felt fresh and new every day – it was great!!! The only downside was that the shops inside the resort were a bit pricey, but that's about it, haha. I met some French ladies on another tour, and they were talking about how great Meraki Resort was, sounding like they regretted moving to a different hotel, lol. I had such a wonderful 3-night, 4-day stay that I didn't want to leave ㅠㅠ Oh, and the room was a bit dark, but everything else was so fantastic that it didn't bother me at all. Thank you so much for helping me create such kind and beautiful memories! 😄 I Love Egypt🫶🏻 I Love Hurghada🫶🏻 I Love Meraki💕 <For your reference...> While many Koreans visit Dahab in Egypt, Hurghada isn't as popular, and there aren't many Koreans in Egypt overall. So, at first, they might mistake you for Chinese or Japanese, ask if you're from China or Japan, and greet you in Chinese or Japanese. However, it's not meant to be derogatory; it's simply because those are the East Asians they encounter most often. If you correct them and say you're Korean, they'll often greet you in Korean and even apologize for the mistake~ haha. Egyptians are generally very friendly. The only minor issues are that street vendors can be a bit pushy, and for taxis, always use Uber – they will charge you the amount shown (though if there's a single digit in the fare, they'll round up). If you call an Uber and they try to haggle via message, don't hesitate to cancel and call another Uber driver. Aside from those two things, everyone was friendly and wonderful~!!!

This was by far the most satisfying hotel experience I had during my trip to Egypt. The hotel truly showed me what a great all-inclusive experience should be. The only minor disappointment was the quality of the alcohol used in the cocktails, which did not seem particularly high. Other than that, the service was excellent for the price, and I was extremely satisfied with my stay. For those who are concerned about their health, I would personally recommend choosing beer rather than cocktails. Overall, it was a very enjoyable and worthwhile experience. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I have the opportunity.

Overall, the meal was enjoyable and satisfactory. However, our experience was completely ruined by the blatant discrimination we faced at the "Cream & Bean" cafe next to the noodle shop. The Black female staff member with glasses was extremely ****** and disrespectful toward Asians. Her attitude, facial expressions, and tone of voice were highly unprofessional and hostile. To make matters worse, she intentionally withheld our order. We watched her serve the exact same item to a customer who ordered long after we did. When we confronted her about our missing order, she casually claimed she forgot, proceeded to serve yet another customer behind us, and only gave us our food after a lengthy delay. This staff member's behavior is unacceptable, and immediate disciplinary action and customer service training are required.
