WELKIN Hotel (Wuxing District Government Branch, Zhili, Huzhou)

I chose the Yunqi Hotel randomly when I drove to Huzhou, and I was pleasantly surprised after checking in. The staff were very enthusiastic; they guided me to the parking lot, brought me tea, and even carried my luggage to the room. The air conditioning was already on when I arrived, which was a very thoughtful touch. There were plenty of free parking spaces, both in the front and back, and they even had EV charging stations, so I didn't have to worry about charging my electric car after a long drive. The room was spotless, with no strange odors. The 'Xiao Du' smart speaker was incredibly convenient for turning on lights and adjusting the AC without getting up – perfect for lazy people! The breakfast was also excellent, with both Chinese and Western options. They have a lobby, gym, and laundry room. Check-in at the front desk was very quick, and the room's soundproofing was good, so it was very quiet at night. This hotel is suitable for both leisure and business travelers, with great facilities and excellent value for money. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Huzhou, and I highly recommend it to anyone driving to Huzhou!

The room facilities were comprehensive, but the sink and bed felt a bit too high, making them slightly uncomfortable to use. The location was convenient, very close to the highway. However, there were no complimentary small gifts.

I didn't want to leave a bad review, but I just couldn't stand it anymore! From the moment we entered the room, there was a strong smell of wood-based panels, which we could tolerate. Our family of four, including two children, was subjected to a barrage of calls from the front desk demanding we add them on WeChat and leave a positive review, threatening to withhold breakfast if we didn't. We didn't eat their breakfast the next morning. They only gave us two toothbrushes for the whole family, and after two calls for four, they still hadn't arrived after an hour. The last time I called, I said I was leaving a bad review, and they brought them over in a minute. When they did, the staff member said they were busy and didn't have time to deliver. I found it ridiculous; they wouldn't have delivered if I hadn't said anything, but they delivered immediately after I did. The service was terrible, and there was even someone's hair near the toilet. I didn't want to complain, but when I checked out yesterday, they bombarded me with calls after hearing I was going to leave a bad review. I'm furious!

The room is big, the environment is clean and sanitary, the service attitude is also very good, the shower water is relatively large, the breakfast is too simple, but it is enough to eat, parking is relatively convenient, and the parking lot is also quite large.

If you want to eat nearby, you can walk to Zhejiang North Square, which is a 10-minute walk. The breakfast is average, with few varieties, but it's filling enough.
