We chose this B&B in the ancient town for our family road trip with our elderly parents and kids. The owner was super friendly, added us on WeChat in advance, and sent parking instructions. After checking in, we enjoyed a complimentary afternoon tea by the river, which was lovely for relaxing and chatting. The room was clean, parking was quite convenient, and the breakfast was also pretty good.

Being a foreigner, I appreciated they added me to WeChat and thus we could talk through translation. The hotel provided a boat pick-up with pictures leading me to the exact place. They also provided an afternoon tea with a generous serving of fruit and nuts. I like the area as it is quieter and more peaceful than the main areas with all the shops and stalls. Breakfast was too much food and quite a variety. Lastly, to room is big and spacious. One suggestion would be to have regular chairs instead of floor chairs so one could sit and watch the boats travel up the canal from the window. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I brought my sister here for her graduation trip. I actually found this B&B on Xiaohongshu and didn't have high expectations, but I was really pleasantly surprised! You can arrange your boat transfer in advance. Since it was the off-season, we got a free room upgrade. Before checking in, they even patiently explained the map to us. Cute cats would pop up randomly too! The breakfast was very clean, and the afternoon tea was delicious. Definitely five stars! The room was spacious and very clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom even had a Dyson hairdryer, so no worries about my hair feeling uncomfortable. This is definitely a hotel I'd choose again. It's truly reassuring to find such a great B&B in Nanxun. See you next time, Nanxun! It's also incredibly close to Baijianlou, just a two-step walk, which makes it excellent value for money.

Came to Nanxun with my parents, and this guesthouse was very convenient. They provided a map and explanations. From here, you can choose to take a boat or a Didi to the China Food Coupon Museum.

Overall, I'm very satisfied. Sitting quietly by the river was very pleasant.

Everything was perfect! The service was excellent. We had a child with us, and they even prepared breakfast for all three of us. The view from the guesthouse entrance is absolutely stunning. I'll definitely recommend this place to friends visiting the area.

First off, Nanxun Ancient Town is quite similar to other ancient water towns in the Jiangnan region of China. It's highly commercialized, which means it lacks a peaceful atmosphere, making it hard to really appreciate the charm of an ancient water town. The same goes for the Hundred-Room House area along the water, as most of them have been converted into B&Bs. You can hear people coming and going very early in the morning. Secondly, specifically regarding the B&B itself, 'Ideal Sanyun' is one of the larger ones in the Hundred-Room House area, and the service is excellent. As for the living environment, it's not particularly outstanding due to geographical constraints. Plus, during peak season, room rates are high, so there's no shortage of tourists looking for a place to stay. The complimentary afternoon tea and boat transfer are nice unique touches worth experiencing.

Out of all the places we stayed this trip, Nanxun and the Ideal Sanxun Hotel in Nanxun were definitely my favorites. The owner added me on WeChat in advance and arranged for a boat to pick us up right at the hotel entrance, helped with our luggage, and even provided complimentary afternoon tea. Enjoying the 'Nanxun Three Cups of Tea' by the river was a unique experience. Across and next to the hotel, the whole Baijianlou area had many 'stove-boiled tea' spots. Watching the small boats in the evening when there weren't many tourists, and then having Wonton Noodles, was incredibly cozy. There were so many cats too! The ancient town also has many historical and cultural sites to visit, as well as plenty of unique shops. It's a place full of artistic charm and a lively atmosphere. Breakfast could be delivered to the room and was both rich and delicious. The hotel's second floor was also perfect for photos. When checking out, the owner even drove us to the parking lot. I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend this place!

This guesthouse is centrally located in Baijianlou, offering a fantastic location. The check-in by boat is a unique and charming experience. The owner is very talkative and welcoming. The backyard has several sweet olive trees, filling the whole guesthouse with their fragrant scent. Enjoying afternoon tea by the river is incredibly pleasant.

The staff are super helpful and caring. They took a lot of initiatives to help us. Room was clean and well equipped.

Right outside the door, you'll find the beautiful Bailianlou, the most scenic part of Nanxun Ancient Town. I really love it here; it's so quiet and pretty. Restaurant No. 52 nearby has great food. The room is spacious and very comfortable, with good ventilation, so there's none of that musty smell you often get in old buildings. Very satisfied!

This B&B is right by the river, clean and tidy. Parking is convenient if you're driving, and staff helped with our luggage. They even gave us a complimentary special afternoon tea! It was especially nice to take a walk along the ancient riverside path in the morning when the old town was quiet and uncrowded – so relaxing!
