Arrived Lagos late at night and had a hard time finding the hotel. We eventually did after asking a few people on the street. After checking, we were led to our room by Benjamin. He is a carry kind, understanding and communicative employee. He explained how everything in the room worked. The hot water was not hot. I asked for them to increase the temperature and they did not understand. Showers were cold to me. Breakfast was included. There is room for improvement in this area, especially the staff. If staff are hired to only work certain areas, they should not be standing around while tables need to be cleaned or guests need to be seated. Overall, the choice was limited for what you had to eat. It’s a bit more than a continental breakfast. The rooftop lounge was ok. There is a pool table. Alcohol choices are limited. Room service is available. Overall, hotel management was responsive to guests needs.

Stayed here a few years ago and had a wonderful time. It has declined significantly unfortunately. The 1st room had a very strong cigar smell, bad enough to trigger allergies. Sadly the staff were great at check in but extremely rude and disrespectful after, Be sure to check EVERY SINGLE detail of the service they promise. Staff lie about services offered and when they can’t follow through they say ‘the supervisors can’t be disturbed at home and there’s nothing we can do’, even though they don’t dispute they told you the service was available when it’s not . Of course no refunds offered and worst of all no resolve offered (issue was discovered within 15 minutes of entering the room and no other services were used). We travelled all the way to stay here because of my last experience. I am EXTRMELY disappointed with how patronising and rude the staff was. I’m here for 2 weeks this was my #1 place to stay and I’m out after one night. No returns for me and definitely not recommending to my business associates either. It’s a shame because I referred colleagues here and it seems return business isn’t a priority for this business.

The toilet drainage pipe in the room constantly let off a foul stench. Everytime you entered the room you're welcome into the room with the ghastly smell. Maintenance and domestic was called on 3 occasion to do something about it. The breakfast experience was also regretable, the service rendered was way below minimium standard. Ignored repeatedly when politely signalled for service.

What I liked about this hotel was the newness, decor, the young staff who are friendly and helpful. What I didn't like was the creaky wardrobe doors,the thin toilet paper, the toilet seat were too low. Other wise the food, ambience, and staff were excellent. Great to see a new hotel that is clean and fresh and smalls good with great food too.

I have stayed third time in Mayhill and will do so again. It is tastefully furnished and well kept, good maintenance, rooms are comfortable and clean with smart- TV and watercooker, one gets nescafe and water everyday in the room. Very friendly staff, always ready to help. Of course wifi in the entire hotel. 24 hours electricity. Best rooms third Floor.
