AVOID AVOID AVOID 3 star at best! Entertainment - truly awful ! Actually so embarrassingly bad I felt sorry for all the guests sat watching and my husband who worked so hard to pay for this holiday!! Silent discos 2 nights we stayed, a magic show which was actually three people dancing wearing a magician hat, kids disco spent 10 minutes of the 30 passing sand round! Food - if your child or yourself has any food allergies this hotel is not for you! Zero choice for gluten free apart from a small section at breakfast, the signs are misleading and only half the items had allergen signs! For example no allergen signs for mash potatoes but it clearly contained milk/butter!!! my eldest got good poisoning spent two days in bed! Snack bar has very strange and limited food, buffet restaurant same stuff most nights and limited kids section! Apparently the beach restaurant is nice but there was no space for us as you have to book this when you arrive! Huge queue for omelettes, poached egged and crepes so beware! Pools - on day 6 someone poo’d in the pool, the life guard was instantly made aware. He grabbed a member of entertainment team as she spoke better English, they looked in the pool, laughed and walked away leaving people unaware swimming in the pool! Are around the pool isn’t cleaned, ice cream lids rubbish debris left under sun loungers for days. Mosquitos and wasps - tricky as this is nature! However lots of wasps swarm the drinks machine making it hard to get a drink! I react badly to mosquito bites, so I have to thoroughly hunt the room when we arrive, Cleaners then come in and leave the door open whilst they clean letting them back in your room!! Also a few in the main restaurant area so make sure you’re prepared if you react to bites. Other moans / No indoor bar areas, we went In the middle of this recent heatwave so at nights it’s extremely warm and the only sanctuary is back in your rooms. We had clothing stolen from our balcony!! And the area around the hotel is very very recluse!!! This is a 3 star hotel!! Tui are lying when they say 4 star!

This was our first time in Ibiza and won’t be our last. It a short flight so very easy. The hotel was nothing to look at from the outside but once over the fresh hold it was everything we hoped. The rooms were great, grounds large and very well kept. Staff helpful. The food for an all inclusive was varied enough that for an eleven night stay we didn’t get bored of it. It’s very nice that you can walk through to the beach and we realised too late the beach bar is part of the deal or we would have gone more often. If I were going again I’d push us all to get more involved in the activities. They are happening but the team don’t push them, which is a good thing but sometimes you need a nudge 😁 The evening entertainment is ok but I do think they could make more of it to be honest, good but more would be better. Would I recommend though, yes absolutely.

Wow. Just wow. Lot of negativity on here and have to say that from our experience it must stem from some anger issues from some of the posters (but different strokes for different folks and all that). We took our first foreign(!) family holiday here in June 2022 and loved it so much we returned in late August/ early September 2023. Just to go though our experience with some structure. Arrival – short transfer from the airport which is great. Straight into reception (dark?! – not sure I get that from one of the reviews below – do you want a ring light shone in your face on arrival?). Check-in staff efficient, helpful, some more polite than others. Not obsequious – is that what folk want? Room(s) – simple. Yes, probably not 4 star to be honest but clean. The buildings are low rise and are not new – there was clearly a previous incarnation before Tui Magic Life – and yes, they show their age more than a little. If concrete, sterile monstrosities are your thing then you won’t like it. One gripe – some folk put their drinks glasses on the small windowsills to their bathrooms which are directly on the corridor (which is a bit of an accident waiting to happen). Wifi – not the most powerful but works fine in rooms. Stretched a bit at pool but do you/ should you really need it? Food – we thought it was great. Cold? Not in our experience. Breakfast was amazing. You can eat very, very healthily here. Or not, whichever you prefer. Everything is on offer. Drinks – not sure what is expected. If you are going away to drink then a) don’t come here and b) perhaps grow up a bit. Have to say I didn’t exactly sit down and savour the beer but hey, it was generally wet and cold. Yes, some wasps do gather near the soft drink dispensers nearer the pool(s) - didn't see anyone get stung (or close to it) over the 16 days in total we were here (they have tried to deal with it with covers, but the natural world is so inconsiderate). Crepe stand – awesome! Lovely lad serving. Bit of stroppiness from some customers who insisted on joining queue after being told it was closing (cue 'I've paid for this holiday ... blah, blah, blah'). The beach – first impression wasn’t great. Then I bothered to read about the sea**** and how it was actually encouraged for the ecosystem – crazy eh? Also, I absolutely loved how down to earth it was. One great scruffy (and cheap) bar called Tony’s – landlady will get around to serving you when she’s had a quick swim; great food. Another bar called Brisa del Mar – bit more polished and also great (incredible staff). To be honest, the mix of the low rise; the gardens and the beach led to a feeling of space that I cannot find elsewhere on an exhaustive trailing of the Tui website (not for anything like the price anyway). Great little boat shuttle from the beach to Ibiza town and Santa Eulalia. Strange how some here didn’t bother to find that. The Bodega – yes, the app booking is a bit of a nightmare. If you don’t have any patience. Or are

First ever experience of a Tui Magic Life and mixed bag really, after a room move due to first room having what sounded like a jet engine above it, reception staff were great and moved us immediately and couldn’t have been more helpful, second room… fabulous… clean and quiet at night. The location is great and being able to take a stroll down to the beach with the beach bar was great, pool area tidy and pool bar very good and a shout out to Omar behind the bar….. your lemonitos were incredible!!! One major downside was we couldn’t get booked into either downtown or bodega on the app so we went to Guest Services and this was the biggest let down of the trip as Elena you were rude and very unhelpful and you made it known as well so we gave up after the third try as we couldn’t use the app and you couldn’t have cared any less if you had tried….. maybe for next season learn some customer service manners!!! All the rest of the staff, polite and lovely and couldn’t fault them….. would I book again…. Yes and the activities on-site were vast and kept quite a lot of our group entertained, areas around the pool lovely.

My friends and I booked a weeks holiday at TUI Magic Life Cala Pada. Having visited other hotels in the collection (Italy & Rhodes) we were excited to experience what Cala Pada had to offer. Regrettably, it was average at best and certainly not 4*plus as advertised by TUI. Initially we were allocated a room that had a broken generator or pump of some kind on the roof. We reported this, and with a little bit of encouragement, the front desk did move us to a quieter building which was good. The rooms are very basic. The cleaning staff don’t do much other than make your bed, and provide fresh towels. No wiping down of surfaces or sweeping up bits of sand you may have trodden in. No water restocked, no milk in the room, no mugs in the room (although there was a kettle). The air conditioning in the newer room worked, however it didn’t in the original one. The room we were moved to had a ceiling fan above the bed, however the electrical point that switched it on was I’ll wired in, and I got a shock turning it on/off so we only used it once. The food choices in the restaurant are good and catered for everyone in our party, how we the food has never been hot. It’s barely luke-warm and some of the meat items we were unable to eat as they were not cooked through (sausage / pork / chicken). Vegetables are hit and miss…. Sometimes cooked to a mush, and sometimes on the harder side of al-denté. We were unable to book into any of the speciality restaurants, as it was the end of the season and we were told the kitchens were closing for cleaning. Staff were not particularly friendly or helpful. Especially the girl with the half shaved head who was sat at the customer service help desk. There is no waiter service at sun beds which I would have expected from a 4*plus resort, and sun beds were filthy. They clearly had not been cleaned in a long time and many attracted flies. Cocktails were not made with fresh juice, all from a machine which made them taste horrible. The beauty centre was not available either as they had closed down for the end of the season, so no massages for us! Evening ‘entertainment’ was very poor! The best days we had on this holiday were days we spent offsite and outside of the resort. Overall, not worth the price and in my opinion graded incorrectly in terms of stars. I will be speaking with TUI when I return to the UK as the staff in resort were significantly unhelpful.

We visited here in May and loved it so much we came back for October half term for 8 nights. It's the little things that really make the difference, no wristbands, friendly staff who made a lovely fuss of our toddler. Our toddler has multiple food allergies and I appreciated a personal tour from the chef who showed me what would be safe for her to eat. Once the food was mislabelled but we spotted before she ate it and after speaking to the manager he checked in on her every day to check she had found something she wanted to eat. The food is excellent, the warm plates help with food temp and all the meat and fish was cooked perfectly. The staff in magico really go above and beyond esp on last night of the season. Our room was clean and comfy and the shower was fantastic! Our toddler loved the mini disco and the ladies who led it. The only complaint is the pool that was heated in May wasn't heated this time so our swimming crazy toddler got too cold to swim but she gave it a bash. This place is the best we absolutely loved it!

Big compliments to the chef, as food was delicious and 10+stars, high quality food, attentive staff at the restaurant. The rooms are nice and clean, fresh towels every day. Beautiful hotel with green area, the beach is few meters away. The only problem we had was entertaining part, radio station where you can get any sport equipment only opens at 11.30, asked at the reception and guest service desk for the ball for the child and the reply was big No at 10.30 am. Children's room run by young ladies in their 20, probably the older supervisor would be useful. Disco for children is the same every day.

We visited „la bodega“ today and every waiter and waitress was so friendly, especially „Pilar“ and the food was really delicious aswell! I can definitely recommend eating in this restaurant and also visiting TUI MAGIC LIFE CLUB CALA PADA!

I felt this resort offered very good value for money - we went in October so paid almost half of what we would have done for a July/ August break. The rooms were clean (though I would recommend booking a two bed apartment if you are going in a group of 4, the one bed with the pull out in the lounge was rather cramped with all the luggage in there) there was a large selection of food at breakfast lunch and dinner which was of a reasonable quality (again relative to what we paid we couldn’t have asked for more), the sports and activities were varied and easy to book (tennis, archery, football, volleyball, crazy golf). The staff are worthy of special mention, they were all extremely friendly in the bars, restaurants and the entertainment staff were great too. The crepe station was a daily highlight for us! The cakes at the coffee house every afternoon were good quality aswell. The food at Downtown and Bodega were both enjoyable and made a welcome change from the buffet, so definitely book those if there is availability. I agree with reviews that say the pool area is a little tired and the floor rough without shoes on, and that the pool is rather cold, but our overall experience relative to the cost was very good!
