Fantastic hotel in a great location in beautiful Ibiza. We visited as a family of 7 - 2 adults and 5 teenagers. We stay in many 5 star hotels and this is one of our favourites. Luxury but without being pretentious. Here are our overall comments on our stay. Hotel rooms: We had 2 x prestige junior suites and 2 x junior suites for our family. All 4 rooms were very spacious and kept clean and tidy. We didn’t really use the roof top terrace in the prestige suites and would probably just book the junior suites next time we stay as we didn’t really use the additional facilities in the prestige suites to justify the additional cost. To keep the rooms modern we would recommend looking to get USB ports in the rooms and updating the TVs to smart TVs, but not a major thing. Pool and pool bar: We love the pool at this hotel. Immaculately clean, both the pool and external areas. Plenty of sun beds in the sun but with the provision of shade thanks to the lovely life guard who would re-adjust the umbrellas to your liking throughout the day and keep you supplied with plenty of pool towels. We used the pool bar for both food and drinks most days and it was all very good. Can be a bit slower service at peak times of the day but generally very good. Spa: Used the spa for a treatment and spa circuit once during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lobby bar: The delightful Eva Lopas in the lobby bar is a true asset to the hotel, keeping customers happy even when she’s rushed off her feet. She makes a very nice Amaretto Sour too! The lobby bar is perfectly suited for us but for those wanting something more lively with entertainment this probably isn’t the hotel for you. Buffet restaurant: The buffet restaurant at this hotel is very good. We were half board due to the supplier we booked with, however only ate in the restaurant of an evening a couple of times as we prefer to go out and try different restaurants and aren’t massive fans of buffets, however the quality and variety of the food when we did go was very good. The buffet breakfast is excellent and all the staff work hard to ensure you have a good experience. Location: We love the location of this hotel as it is far enough away from the main town to be quiet but with easy walking distance should you wish to go out and try the many numerous restaurants and bars within the town. There is also a free car park which is great if like us you hire a car. The Marina area is lovely and worth the walk down. There are also options for water sports in the marina. So in summary we would highly recommend this hotel for those looking for quiet luxury on the Island of Ibiza in a good location. We will certainly be returning and can’t wait for our next trip.

The floors in this hotel are amazing! We had a suite which was lovely over looking the pool with the sea visible. The food is very good we never had to queue to get into the restaurant all fairly laid back buffet service. They want you to leave your towels on the sunbed when you are finished which is silly! Nobody knows if your coming back or not! Also people reserve sunbeds then don't turn up round the pool until late afternoon. Common problem I know. We had a few problems getting sunbeds;we wanted 4. The crèche is tucked away in the corner I only found it by chance. Consequently the lovely lady in there was doing nothing most days. Used the spa on the last day wish we had gone in sooner. They have a pool with a few sunbeds in there but kids only allowed in 5-7pm understandably.

We arrived late in the evening and as dinner had finished they had prepared a selection of food for us that was waiting our room. A fantastic start to our holiday. The pool is amazing fresh water and large enough to enjoy at any time. Only downside is it’s pretty deep all through, so the younger children commandeered the Hydrotherapy pool as their own which wasn’t very relaxing. The pool staff should make it clear it isn’t a children’s pool and is too dangerous for them to be dive bombing into i, an accident waiting to happen! Great staff very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The junior suite was fantastic very spacious and they have a lovely pillow menu! Others remarked that the hotel was definitely 5 star but that the food wasn’t at dinner time. The food was delicious with a great variety on offer. They do have two Al a Carte restaurants which were closed during our stay. Fantastic location for the beach, bars and restaurants only a 5-10 minute walk away. The location is beautiful and all could want for a relaxing stay in the quieter part of the island. Highly recommend this hotel chain and will be visiting their other hotels around the Balearics in the future.

Just had the best week away as two friends and this is the first break we have managed to fit in since lockdown. From the minute we got here the service was great. We arrived late and the restaurants where closed but after a super fast checkin and escorted to our room, there was a lovely trolley layed out with a selection of meats, cheeses , crackers nibbles and fresh fruit. The room we choose was a junior suite and was very spacious and amazingly clean, lovely balcony over looking river and sea. The pool was amazing, we thought it had the best heating ever but to our surprise it had none was just in full sunshine all day. We got up to see it being cleaned everyday and the whole of the pool area was immaculate, as was the rest of the Hotel. The pool bar was great, food delicious and staff worked relentless. The general Manager and the pool bar Manager worked as hard as anyone and made our stay perfect. Thank you to all the staff at Insotel Fenicia

Our stay at this 5-star hotel was nothing short of remarkable! Its grandeur truly came alive once we stepped through the doors. This hotel is better than the photos would suggest. The rooms are a dream - spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The peace and quiet that envelopes the hotel adds a touch of serenity to your stay, making it an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. A standout aspect of our visit was definitely the staff. They are the heart and soul of this hotel, always ready with a smile and eager to assist. Two individuals, in particular, deserve special mention - Dana from guest services and Nestor, the manager. Their attention to detail, prompt assistance, and dedication to ensuring our comfort turned our stay into a memorable experience. The highlight of our evenings was the talented keyboard player. We don’t know his name, other than Mr Bojangles (a favourite he played). His music filled the lobby, creating an enchanting atmosphere. Adding to the overall experience was the private hot tub and sun terrace in our premium room. The only downside being that we didn’t use it enough, as there’s so much to see nearby. All in all, this hotel is a paradise for those seeking a peaceful retreat with top-notch customer service. It truly sets the bar for what a 5-star hotel experience should be. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for your next trip to Santa Eulalia - this was our first time in Ibiza, and even though we haven’t checked out yet we are already looking to book this hotel again for next year. Warm regards, The Johnson family.

A return visit to this hotel, this time on a full board basis, with access to the spa included. Firstly, the standards at the hotel remain just as good as on my first visit two years ago - the hotel is spotless, well maintained and customer service standards are excellent - the hotel director was visible every evening in the restaurant. The service team in the restaurant are great - friendly, welcoming and engaging. Jorge at reception was lovely too - always smiling and friendly. We requested and were allocated the same room as last time - it all just looks brand new still, so clearly at the end of season or when necessary, the rooms are repainted and refreshed. The bed is very comfortable, there's a pillow menu, and I slept brilliantly all week. There are new toiletries in the shower and at the sink which smell beautiful, a nice new addition. I never had an issue getting a sun bed, and as others have mentioned, the life guard ran to help with umbrellas and was very sociable. Just one big issue this stay, and it was the food. I was only B&B last time, this trip I was half board. The variety of food available in the evenings wasn't great, and we ended up going out for dinner on two evenings. Odd things were available - hash browns for dinner three times? Duck breasts and turkey steaks put out three nights in a row as well, which worried me that potentially the same duck and turkey was put out three consecutive nights as it hadn't been used up. I tried the turkey the first night it was offered and it was fatty, with a bone in it, so clearly not a great cut of meat. It felt like as the hotel was closing for the season in three week's time, that they were emptying the freezers and putting out whatever needed be used up. The food was never that warm either unfortunately, at dinner or at breakfast, although the choice of food available at breakfast was more extensive than in the evening. A point to note, anyone with a nut allergy should be careful as nothing was labelled as containing nuts, and they were all over the charcuterie section and in some desserts. One piece of advice, as mentioned by another traveller too - as the hotel is alongside a river, pack some mosquito repellent. I don't usually get bitten, but was seven times during that week. Overall I had another great stay at the hotel, and will return again, but only on a B&B basis as the variety, frequency of repeat & temperature of the food particularly at dinner was disappointing.

The hotel's public areas are beautifully and sympathetically decorated, and we enjoyed the comfort they offered. However, that was it. I have been quite picky as this is supposed to be a 5* hotel, not cheap, and so certain standards should be there, but they weren't. It was 3-4* at best. The bathroom: Shower grouting was dirty. There was no grab rail in the shower and the shower tray was slippy and had a big soft dent in the middle, that sunk every time you got in. No nail kit/cotton wool/shower cap etc., it's as if they had *****ped the room back to basics. The toilet paper was the cheapest and hardest you can find. The marble sink unit has major cracks in it and they were very sharp - you had to be careful. The toilet seat was loose and no towel by the bidet all week. The bedroom: The robe and slippers were good, but where were all the other 5* finishing touches? Everyday we had to ask for milk/cream, for the tea/coffee, but it only came once, so we couldn't drink it. Despite the hotel saying their water was not drinkable, they did not provide drinking water, a basic requirement for living! You could buy a 0.5l bottle for 5+ euro's. The food: This was a big disappointment. Despite not being made aware, none of the other hotel's restaurants were open. It was buffet or nothing. The food was consistently cold, bland and uninspiring. The same cook-to-order meat every night, no steak, no lamb, but lots of chicken legs and burgers! It was Spanish Day when we were there, but not even a whiff of Paella or other national dishes. The cold desserts weren't refrigerated, the ice cream was so hard, it had completely crystallised. For a 5* hotel, the mayo/ketchup etc was in big catering boxes, not very classy at all. The floor was so slippy, dangerously so, and we saw children fall and ladies slip. As the hotel was making you "dress" for dinner, ladies with heels were at a disadvantage as they had to totter very carefully to and from the buffet. Didn't see the point in the dress code for a buffet when the hotel was so quiet. Again, basic water with your meal was charged for. The pool area: This was a lovely relaxing environment, and the attentive pool-man, is a credit to the hotel. It was immaculate. A shame the same could not be said about the pool bar. A very quiet and extremely overpriced area, with surly bar staff. An area we chose to avoid. There is so much more I could write, such as the beautiful spa, which, even as a hotel guests you had to pay to go in! The hotel was very, very clean. However, after all this, the most disappointing part for us was that the hotel bedroom wardrobe fell off it's rollers and on top of me. To try and avoid the thousands of pounds worth of damage it would have caused if I left it to fall, so I tried to hold it. I only hurt my wrist, nothing major. However, the hotel chose to ignore it. No apology, no visit from management to check I was ok. Nothing. I complained at reception, again, no apology. Howev

Spacious, very clean hotel throughout. Staff at Reception, Maria and delightful bellboy Jorge were so helpful, I enjoyed talking to them. My daughter was not well during stay and they were very kind. Very impressive entrance and foyer now needing an updating after the major renovation in 2006. Been visiting Ibiza since 1988 staying at various hotels and have seen the major changes & massive investment in Santa Eulalia’s promenade hotels, now very high end. Very spacious pool well laid out with every comfort. Our room had a lovely view over the pool and towards the sea, kept very clean by the room maids, spacious and comfortable. The only down sides was the trip hazard sliding mats in our room which we removed to under the beds. I have to be very careful not to fall due to arthritis & osteoporosis and the mats were a problem. Shower safety mats should be standard but we did have to wait for one to come available. Staff at breakfast very attentive & pleasant except the surly chef who was positively unfriendly. We didn’t have evening dinner at the hotel as we enjoy using the lovely restaurants in the town. Also the breakfast buffet was dissapointing and some of the food did not look fresh, so avoided. However taking everything into consideration, I would recommend a stay at the Fenecia, but it’s not a 5 star, 4 star more like. A lovely position, very nice walk into town, quiet, very clean, super staff, comfortable spacious bedrooms, what’s not to like?
