Laston House was the perfect choice for our first visit to Ilfracombe, with very welcoming hosts. The room was comfortable, spacious and very clean with a lovely view of the sea from the windows. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. As an added bonus, Laston House is really well placed, being only 10 minutes walk from the harbour and town. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Charm, Friendly and Great Value
Great location with fabulously helpful staff in charming character building. Excellent value for money especially with such a plentiful breakfast. Wi-Fi was a bit slow during our stay and could need an upgrade. Would definite recommend.

Wonderful long weekend break away in this beautiful, ornate house with stunning views. Our room was large, clean & comfortable with a king sized bed . Our hosts were absolutely lovely with a wealth of knowledge of the area, & breakfast absolutely delicious. Located only a short walk from the quay & the local pub no less than 50 metres away. We will definitely be returning!

Amazing old building nestled in some peaceful woodland.
Great breakfast, excellent produce, poached egg was perfect, lovely fresh bread.
The room was extremely spacious and well decorated. Comfortable bed and good shower. Great to have free parking in Ilfracombe too.
We ate breakfast each morning while watching a multitude of birds through the breakfast room window.

Stayed here recently for two nights. What a lovely relaxing break. Room was really comfortable with huge king sized bed and lovely crisp linen and with fantastic views. Breakfast was really nice and it was good to know that everything was locally sourced. Abi and Greg were great hosts and Abi was also a mine of helpful local information.

Laston House is a lovely Grade II listed building set in a wooded area close to Ilfracombe …. a 10-15 walk down to the harbour area, with shops and restaurants. Greg and Abi were fabulous hosts so welcoming and friendly. They were really lovely. The house is so tastefully decorated throughout with lovely pieces of art deco furniture throughout the property. The house is impeccably clean throughout. There’s a lovely lounge to sit in, which we did on the afternoon we arrived. Breakfast each morning freshly cooked to order and it was delicious. Bed so comfy. Plenty of car parking on site and the house is in a quiet location. Would definitely recommend Laston House it was such a lovely place to stay. One pub restaurant literally within a two minute walk of Laston House. The only small negative was Wi-Fi and phone signals dipped in and out generally in and around the area.
