Royal Taj Mahal - All Inclusive

This is our second stay in Turkey. This time with 3 famillys. Hotel very clean, comfortable, large. The room was clean, upon arrival we were given a room even though it was 10:00 a.m. and the hotel check-in time starts at 2:00 p.m. we received a room of a higher standard than we ordered. The food was very varied and delicious, the entire staff tried very hard to provide the highest level of service - waiters, bartenders and cleaning ladies. The group of animators encouraged both children and adults to have fun, greetings to Jacob :). The beach is wide, clean, the sea temperature in winter is the same as in Poland in summer :). only one smal minus- a little bit cold water in inside pool. We recommend it to everyone, especially families with children.

Amazing hotel. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. The pool areas were clean and tidy. Unfortunately the pools were really cold but it was only April. Waterslides were fun, not all were open as the hotel was quiet when we were there. There are a few shops in the hotel which is handy. There are shops across the road from the hotel with some good bargains. The selection of food in the hotel was amazing. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

The hotel claims a 5 star hotel and misses to state that staff can not speak in English. Nobody from security, receptionist, waiter, bartender to chef can speak in English. For any questions you may have 1 sure answer is "I don't know English", hardly helps tourist in a foreign country. Most food was not labelled and those rarely labelled were either confusing or wrong so not reliable for a vegetarian. Bartender served wrong drinks. Cook once put non-veg pieces in omlet even after mentioning I just want tomatoes and onions. And none of them ever apologising for wrong doing, like they hardly cared. Fitness classes were seldom run, there were many cancellations than not. So were the water slides, they were more times closed for maintenance than not. Staff failed to explain why a 14 year old wasn't let in one slide due to lack of either English or the real knowledge. Bistro cafe was meant to serve food all day and night but all it ever had stock of was the Turkish delight and pastry. If you ever miss your lunch, you have to rely on sugar blasts for many hours till your next meal. A-la-carte restaurants were at a charge rather than being included in the price of an all-inclusive stay, which is shocking. The name and the decor of hotel was Taj but got nothing to do with Taj and no Indian food served. Being in Turkey there was not even authentic falafel on the menu ever. Night time entertainment was very poor. They called it a live music but it was armature screaming on mike. Brazil dance performances for a family event was so unsuitable. We returned quite unhappy about facilities including staff and food. Only good things: daily cleaning service, providing plenty water bottles and taste bhaklava.

The hotel is big. Staff are good, but they don't speak English, mostly German. The bedrooms are big and comfortable. Cleaned every day and changed towel everyday as well. Food for veggie is limited as they seem to add meat flavouring in most food and cook chip in the same oil as they fry chicken/fish. Guest relations is very poor and so is the restaurant managers who will not help much in a way of getting hot vegetarian food cooked. The chef will tell you what we can eat as vegetarian, not in way of hot food, mostly salads. We were asked what we wanted to eat and looked up hot vegetarian dish. Gave advance noticed as well, not when we sat at the table and was served soup and some sort of patty. NOT what we had asked for. We gave up after 3rd time of telling them what we wanted to eat and got something difference or nothing. You can only eat so much salad whilst there for 7 nights. Limited choice for breakfast for veggies. Cereals taste like cardboard. We had informed the hotel in advance of us being vegetarians. Maybe vegetarians to stay away from this hotel

Lovely hotel. Good room size and lots of pools to choose from. Staff very helpful. While we both agreed that this is one of the best hotels we had stayed at there were a couple of areas to be aware of. 1) wifi. The availability was great (pool, beach, room, lobby etc) the speed and reliability was poor. 2) service for drinks in the minus one bar in the evening was slow (5-10mins) to get drinks. Everywhere else was fine. 3) child band for slides. For minors special band is required to allow access to slides. Not a major hassle but would have been nice to be informed upon check in rather than having to deal with later. Apart from that I strongly recommend the hotel as the above are minor annoyances in what was a good stay.

A beautiful hotel. Large swimming pools. Oriental design. Wide selection of food. A very beautiful sandy beach. Nice beach bar. Different shows in the evenings. Water park and amusement park for children next to the hotel. The city center is within walking distance.

Thanks for all your service you offered us during our stay . We stayed here with family and some relatives . All of us are happy to spend time at Royal Taj Mahal Hotel . Staff , especially , Emirhan , Büşra and others were great . There are a lot of swimming pool here that makes children happy . Aqua park is clean and there are many choices . Rooms are big and clean . I don t have any complain . Thanks again for your support 🙏🏿🙏🏿

Out standing hotel rooms the are huge every where is spotless the hotel shops are cheaper than outside the food was amazing pools were spotless the only thing lets this hotel down is the evening entertainment it needs an up grade.

Right from the beginning, I would like to mention that for 15 years we have been going on vacation to Turkey every year at the beginning of September. This hotel seemed to us one of the best we have been to so far (among others we have been to Royal Holiday Palace, Royal Dragon, Royal Alhambra, Delphin Palace Lara, Delphin Deluxe Alanya, Granada Luxury Belek, etc.). The food was very varied and very tasty. Every day there is grilled fish (at least 3 dishes), grilled lamb/beef/chicken/turkey meat, plus a multitude of salads and an enormous amount of sweets. The cleanliness in the hotel is exemplary. What I liked and it is worth appreciating was that throughout the hotel there were bosses (management personnel) who checked and coordinated the employees' activity. I witnessed a "rebuke" of an employee who had not cleaned the toilets on the beach perfectly (although it seemed to me that it was quite clean). The staff was very respectful and very ok. Indeed, they speak more German, but I had no problems with English either. Someone said in a comment that when you ask for whiskey, they give you theirs, Turkish, even if you paid Ultra All Inclusive. It's like that everywhere in Turkey, but if you go and order Wiskey Ballantines (for example), that's exactly what you'll get. I have not been refused even once, no one is against serving you, but you have to ask for exactly what you want. The restaurant on the beach should be praised, prompt service, sufficient staff, good food plus a wide variety of fruits available. Very good for a "snack restaurant". Regarding the tip, no one asked us, it never happened that someone didn't serve us or expect a tip. The evening shows are very good. Although the hotel was full, I didn't feel crowded at all, neither at the table nor at the bars, maybe only a little on the beach. Overall, the hotel was superb, I could point out only a few minuses (which can be easily solved): 1. At certain times of the day, especially in the evening, after 6 p.m., in the bathroom in the shower room, the water from the shower alternates between boiling and cold, you cannot take a shower as you would like at a constant temperature. I don't know if it's like that in all corps, we were in Corps B. 2. The bar lacks "natural" non-carbonated juices, in a box (tetra-pak), they only have "natural" juices in the dispenser, plus those from the Pepsi range. 3. Lack of internet at the beach. There is a network, you can connect to it, but the internet does not work. It's not a big minus, but..... it can be improved! In conclusion, congratulations to the hotel management team and congratulations to all the employees who make efforts to make everything as good as possible for us! I think we will return to this hotel, although normally we don't want to go to the same hotel twice.
