Always look forward to our stay at The Crescent . We have stayed here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed . Spotless , well equipped rooms and although only had dinner in the restaurant a few times , the breakfast is amazing . Great choice and quick service . Thank you again Stephen and all your staff for another great stay .

I travelled to likely with my parents for a family funeral and stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The parking is a little tricky and very confusing with a limited time duration as you are only allowed to use the hotel car park if you have booked a suite! However, Emily made a very anxious couple of day a lot more comfortable by sorting us parking , organising a taxi to the funeral and ensuring that under the circumstances we had a pleasnt stay. A lovely young lady with excellent customer service skills . Thank you Emily. We ate both nights in the restaurant . The food was delicious and excellent value for money. I would certainly stay at the hotel in the future

Room was very small as expected when we booked but it was also extremely noisy and hot. I requested a quiet room but the room was facing the road with a very noisy fan on the exterior wall. No air flow through room and waterproof sheet made the bed even warmer. The bottom sheet did not cover the mattress leaving the mattress cover exposed. The cover underneath was badly stained and unpleasant. Hardly slept and have never wanted to leave a place so badly. Photos give a false impression.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The room was a little small but this did not bother us as we were out and about during the days and evenings. Room was exceptionally clean and bed was very comfortable. There were small details in the room which could do with some minor touch ups but nothing major. Food in the bistrot is excellent and all of the staff that served us were very good. I would definitely stay here again.

Had another amazing stay at The Crescent . We stay here regularly, and cannot fault it . We have stayed in all the rooms over the past few years and all are clean and comfortable especially the suites which are also well equipped . The breakfast is also wonderful with a great menu . Thank you Stephen and all your wonderful staff.

Left my key on reception. They didn't bother to ring to let me know. Even when they locked up for the night. Got back at 11.30pm to find it shuttered. No bell. No night porter number (except on a desk behind a locked door). No answer to the phone. Luckily, as l was looking for somewhere else to stay, someone turned up and let us in, and l found our key in the desk. Emailed the manager who didn't bother to respond. Terrible customer service. Just don't bother.

Disappointing stay with extremely poor night's sleep. Room was very hot and had a loud background noise of industrial extractor fan from kitchen resonating. However this paled into insignificance with loud music coming from the neighbouring night club until after 3.00am and shouting and cars revving until 3.30am. After 1.5 hours sleep noise started again with loading of metal into skips at 5..00am! Breakfast was good quality but took precisely 1 hour from ordering to serving.

Literally the worst bed I’ve ever experienced in any hotel, B&B or cottage. Cheap, spongey mattresses but the divan base was worse - totally collapsed old thing with springs that had sunk down to nothing. It was like sleeping in a hammock. Could probably cause spinal injury. I actually ended up on the floor as it was less painful. I contacted the hotel next day and Stephen Parr offered us a free night or partial refund. Then, he immediately ghosted me after I repeatedly messaged and emailed him. I also asked *********** to do something. They were also useless. The room was stuffy and airless and windows wouldn’t open enough to help. The fan was ineffective.

We booked a suite, free car parking space😀 the suite was fabulous! So clean & fresh, we had a fab dinner in the restaurant on Monday evening. Highly recommended. The young man who served us expresso martinis in the afternoon & in the evening was excellent! Breakfast was also top notch! Thankyou we Will be back soon!
