J7 Hotel

we love the room, and the internet was excellent. the staff are all kind and polite.

Location is not bad, had nothing to do as there's nothing special near there. But there is a big mall if you walk a bit.

Overall, it was a nice stay. Everyone was polite and attentive to your needs. I just wish they’d improve the soundproofing of the rooms cause I can easily hear the wailing kid from 3 rooms away. I can also also hear the housekeeping staff chatting and playing music while cleaning the other rooms. But other than that, it was a excellent stay. I’ll probably recommend this hotel to friends who are planning to visit Iloilo.

The hotel is well located for my requirements. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately My special requests were completely ignored. With my booking through Trip.com I asked for a window room in a quiet area and if possible anice view. What I got was a ground floor room near the rear of the hotel with no window and when trying to sleep all you can hear is a compressor type machine running for approximately every 5 to 10 seconds and stopping tor 5 to 10 seconds and making a water hammer sound when it stops. This machine runs and stops all day and all night. Thus if you are a lite sleeper you get no sleep. I don't know if Trip.com advised J7 of my requests or if the hotel ignored my requests completely. I was too tired to push the point with the staff so I left a day early. I hope my experience can help this issue be sorted out for someone else wanting to stay at J7 in the future.

hotel is nicley located near SM iloilo and there are a lot of cheap food choices outside and inside the hotel. our concern is that the walls are thin and made of plywood which we can easily hear the neighbors conversation and TV. Service and cleanliness is ok, parking is very limited

Pretty good - no major problems. The food in their restaurant was surprisingly good and not more expensive than those at the SM mall. SM is a short walk over the sky bridge where there are many places to walkabout ...
