Swansea City Centre

The only 2 lifts were not in service at the same time. Luckily the staffs there were pretty helpful. However, they accidentally charged me an extra cost though the amount of money was returned eventually but I hope that similar things won’t happen to other customers in the future Rooms were spacious!👍🏻

Once you have found the Premier Inn the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable - but - with the one way system and pedestrianisation of some streets plus confusing signs to the Inn, it is hard to find ! The entrance is very inconspicuous under an arch up an alley and it is impossible to get to it by car. The brown signs to Premier Inn lead you to a dead end tantalisingly close to the entrance alleyway ( covered in grafitti ) but unless you are prepared to go up into the VERY expensive carpark on the left, there is no-where to park. We retraced our tracks and eventually parked in the St David's Car Park and walked the five minutes back to the hotel with our luggage. This carpark belongs to Swansea Council and you can pay in advance £5.00 for 24 hours, the app is called MiPermit or you can do it through their website. The room we had was a lovely big size with good sound insulation from road outside, it was the usual PI comfort standard. The location is great for all the bars and restaurants and to walk down to the marina.

Location was great right next to everything and not far from the beach and walking. A very clean and quiet hotel which was the most surprising considering it's City location. Friendly staff on reception and equally lovely staff who were cleaning the rooms. I will definitely be booking again for our next trip!

Staying for work, the room was comfortable, the shower was OK, the breakfast was quite good, the one evening meal was perfectly reasonable. The highlight was the staff, who were without exception wonderful. But the WiFi didn't work, and when I called the so-called "support line" they said to get the staff to reset the modem. They did, and it still didn't work. In this day and age, that's completely unacceptable.

I booked this Premier Inn for my daughter, 2 nieces and their friend. There was a family celebration in Swansea and it meant a late night getting back to the hotel. Only to be interrogated by the reception staff asking why the guests were getting back so late to the hotel, calling the girls liars that they’d been to a family celebration, accusing them of clubbing and lying about it. This is totally unacceptable as the girls felt very threatened and besides that, what does it have to do with the reception where the girls went and what time they returned!!
