INSPIRE Entertainment Resort

I had a 17-hour layover in Incheon on my way back to China from the US, so I chose this hotel with an airport shuttle to rest for a night. I was hoping for a comfortable stay to wash away my travel fatigue, but I ended up very dissatisfied. The service attitude was what bothered me the most. It was off-season, and although I booked last minute, I didn't get a low-priced room. However, the staff's attitude was very cold and poor. Even with multiple front desk staff and only a few guests waiting, they didn't open more check-in counters. Several staff members were just chatting, frequently deferring to others, making me wait in line for a long time to check in. The person who handled my check-in didn't smile at all and seemed very impatient. Finally, they gave me a room on the second floor with only rooftops visible outside the window. Given that it was off-season, I strongly suspect they gave me such a room because I'm Chinese. The scale in the room had no battery, the showerhead leaked, and the toilet had many minor issues. While the hotel had several restaurants, they were all quite empty and bleak. The only upside is that most places accepted WeChat Pay and Alipay, which saved me the hassle of exchanging Korean Won.

This hotel is great for families with kids and conveniently close to the airport, offering a free shuttle service. However, the price feels a bit steep for the actual experience. While the room itself was spacious, the service overall was quite mediocre. For such a large resort, it was surprising that none of the front desk staff spoke Chinese, which was a letdown compared to hotels in downtown Seoul.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The check-in process was a bit complicated. You have to scan a QR code at 1 PM to reserve a spot for the 3 PM check-in. If you have an international phone number, remember to register with an email address. I used a domestic number and it kept failing, but when I went at 3 PM and scanned the code, I only waited 5 minutes to check in. Overall, it was quite efficient, and all the staff were friendly and smiling. The activities and exhibitions at the resort were fantastic. I highly recommend Le Space; hotel guests get 20% off tickets, and both adults and children loved it. We saw the aurora show and enjoyed the water park. We only stayed one night, which felt sufficient.

Stayed here for Christmas and the place was decked out in festive gold and red, creating a lively atmosphere. They even upgraded me to a suite, which came with a full set of Bvlgari toiletries. When I checked out, they thoughtfully got the taxi license plate number for me and had me wait in the lobby. The service was truly impeccable!

The hotel shuttle bus offers convenient direct round-trip service to and from the airport. It's an all-in-one place for dining, entertainment, and activities. The water park, in particular, is fantastic for family time, whether you choose to go in the morning, at noon, in the evening, or spend the whole day there. ♥
