Incheon Airport Transit Hotel Terminal 1

1. This is a transit hotel. The room was very small. My daughter and I were transiting back from New York, and we just squeezed onto one bed, which was okay. But it was incredibly tiny. Even the twin rooms were just as small. I even specifically checked out a twin room, and it was tiny and cost over 900 RMB. 2. The shower water pressure was good, but the bathroom itself was too small. 3. I don't really like Koreans; they're too noisy. They don't have the same etiquette as the Japanese. There's a reason Japanese passports have global visa-free access. 4. Besides the Chinese staff, there are very few English-speaking staff at the airport, yet Incheon Airport uses US dollars for transactions, which is incredible. Major airports like Qatar, Abu Dhabi, and Istanbul don't use US dollars. 5. If you only have a two-day transit ticket, don't bother going into the city, otherwise you won't be able to get back in that night.

The hotel is located opposite KFC at Gate 11. Many duty-free shops at the airport are open late into the night. The room doesn't provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, but it does have wooden combs and cotton pads. Cleanliness: Below Korean standards.

What a rip-off! It says it's for transit passengers only, but I didn't realize it's located *after* security. You can't get in without a boarding pass, so only those with connecting flights can stay here. And to top it off, you can't even cancel. On the bright side, there are plenty of good food options around.

The room was tiny and had no windows. All the facilities were very basic; it's a two-star at best. The location seemed convenient on the surface, but it was incredibly hard to find. Plus, barely anyone at the entire airport spoke English.

The room is small but clean. It's located right in the terminal, which is super convenient for a layover or a rest.
