Pandanus Beach Resort & Spa

We are here in the monsoon season. The sea is to rough to swim. However, you can get over it! We have had rain over night and a couple of 15 min down pours. But it's to warm to worry. Unlike some Asian tourist hot spots, Sri Lanka is clean, stunningly beautiful and they drive on the left! The people are welcoming and warm. We travelled with Mercury again as we think we have found some of the loveliest boutique hotels around the Indian ocean with them. So we are adding another......Pandanus beach resort and spa. I am writing this while eating lunch of prawns, pork, bbq chicken and salad. Isuru and Deshan taking care of us. As a small hotel, quieter at this time of year, the buffet is smaller to reduce waste which is good to see. The chef will accommodate whatever you need and the choice of veg and fruit is great. FYI wine is extra but the beer and local spirits mean you don't miss it. (wine is a little expensive in Sri Lanka generally). The location is literally on the beach and the sound of breaking waves your constant backdrop. Our room is stunning and there is a 40m pool that is warmed by the sun. So if the idea of Asia intimidates you a little, come here first. I simple can't say enough good things about this beautiful hotel. Check out the pics. I am not exaggerating! Even the guys selling tours on the beach are polite and no issue. They aren't pushy and probs have a great prices?

We had a wonderful vacation at Pandanus Beach Resort & Spa. Everyone was super loving and warm. The food is excellent, simply delicious and very lovingly prepared. Big thanks to everyone,the reception, the service from the pool and beach, the bars, the room service and the entire restaurant here mainly served us Kelum, Dilip, Manoj, Isuru and Marlo but everyone else was also super nice and helpful. We would like to thank you very much for the great holiday and keep it up. We can recommend the Pandanus Beach Resort & Spa 100% and will definitely come back.

We loved our time spent at the Pandanus Beach Resort Hotel & Spa Location is perfect for exploring the South West aspects of the island. Amazing beach right on the hotel doorstep! Highlights were a visit to the Yala game reserve and the train ride departing Ella. All trips were organised by Athula (green tuk tuk) based at the hotel entrance…knowledgable, considerate & kind at a great price! The hotel is small enough to address everyone as individual but large enough to have every facility you should ever need to make your holiday one of the best! We stayed in a deluxe room which was amazing…the comfort, design, space & the view was unforgettable. Don’t hesitate to book…reserve today!

Kalum Osuru Kavishna - absolutely brilliant service all round. Can highly recommend and will definitely be back again. Sun, sea, relaxation to the Max. Thoroughly recommend a visit to Bentota itself to see what life is like away from the standard tourist spots.

The hotel overall was a perfect place to end our journey in Sri-Lanka in, location and food are the best in town, but the most notable thing was the extreme welcoming and helpful attitude of all the employees, they keep on spreading smiles anytime, and do their best to serve you whatever you want to do From the reception, to the restaurant, the whole staff were amazing, especially the restaurant guys that I can still recall some names like Deshan Wishwa Dilip Manuketh Upul Kalum Savindu Dinuga Isuru Dinusha But the whole team of the hotel was great

We booked last November 15-17, 2024 here at the hotel. We were welcome by guest relations with refreshing drinks and towel which was so relaxing. Our room is quite spacious and neat. Food in the restaurant is notable for the authentic Sri Lankan food. They offer western food for other preferences as well. Front beach hotel is well maintain, pool is clean too. All the staff are approachable and always smiling. The vibes inside the hotel is aesthetically good. Over all experience 9/10 Had a great time staying here. 😊
