"Really great hotel. Our experience was marvelous. The room is very spacious and clean, the view is great, the hotel is walking distance to most tourist attractions (Yu Garden, the Bund, East Nanjing Rd), but what sets it apart as the hotel that I want to come back to for my next trip in Shanghai are the staff. From the moment we checked in until when we checked out, the staff were all very warm and welcoming and really made sure we were comfortable and all our needs are attended. Special shout out to the receptionist Hannie who even added us in Wechat and answered our questions regarding where to go to shop, to eat, etc. She really made sure we had a pleasant experience. I'd love to be back soon and stay at this hotel again. ❤️ The picture is the view from our room."

"Having stayed at numerous Ritz-Carlton properties across China, the Ritz-Carlton Pudong is the only one I've felt compelled to return to so swiftly after my initial stay. Our second visit was particularly special, as we brought along our most cherished family members to celebrate my mother's 60th milestone birthday there. It was truly the exceptionally positive first experience that immediately convinced my wife and me to entrust this significant life event for my mother to the Ritz-Carlton Pudong. This subsequent visit, true to form, did not disappoint. Before check-in, we contacted the hotel's Guest Relations department to explain our occasion and made a few modest requests regarding the birthday arrangements. The hotel staff were incredibly patient and meticulously arranged everything for us. A special commendation goes to Jerry and Jeremy from the hotel. On our arrival day, they had thoughtfully prepared a beautiful birthday bouquet to present to my mother. My mother was utterly moved by the hotel's genuine warmth and attention, almost to tears. A delicate mini birthday cake and a heartfelt handwritten card were also thoughtfully placed in our room. My mother exclaimed how truly thoughtful and caring it all was. ❤️ I truly believe an outstanding hotel is defined not merely by its prime location, opulent environment, or the sophistication of its room amenities. It is, more profoundly, about the dedicated and professional staff, exemplified by Jerry and Jeremy. They serve every guest with heartfelt sincerity, addressing even the smallest request with utmost professionalism and responsibility, ensuring every resident's needs are met. This genuine commitment profoundly touches guests, fostering a true sense of belonging – a feeling of being genuinely at home, truly valued, and deeply cared for. With such an exceptional and professional service team, we will undoubtedly and consistently choose the Ritz-Carlton Pudong for our future stays. "We were in town for a concert with my child, and the hotel staff proactively called us beforehand to confirm our check-in details. We arrived at the hotel around 11 PM, and the front desk staff were incredibly quick with the check-in process, which was a huge relief after a long day of travel! Moving on to the room, we had a river view room this time. It was quite spacious and impeccably clean. For example, the electric kettle was spotless, inside and out – no water stains whatsoever. This really matters to someone like me who's a bit particular about cleanliness. The bedding was very comfortable, and the mattress was perfect, offering just the right amount of support without being too soft. Finally, I have to give a special shout-out to the breakfast. I honestly didn't have high expectations, but the breakfast at MGM Shanghai truly blew me away! Unlike the standard, often unremarkable breakfasts at many star hotels, the selection here was incredibly rich and diverse. They had a live noodle station (the scallion oil noodles are a must-try!), freshly prepared seafood congee, and preserved egg and lean pork congee – all tasting absolutely delicious. Especially when compared to another five-star hotel we stayed at the very next day, even my daughter couldn't help but exclaim, 'I really miss MGM's breakfast!'"

"The staff are extremely rude and the customer service overall is very poor. Staff are not welcoming and go out of their way to try and make your stay difficult. Aside from that the rooms are very clean and spacious and the price is very reasonable. The outdoor pool is a plus in the summer, but the lack of pool loungers which have seemingly been replaced with yoga mats is very low rent. Would highly recommend if you are planning not to spend much time at the hotel, or if it is summer and you are wanting to luxuriate in an outdoor pool - otherwise don’t bother! They clearly don’t want repeat business."

"Excellent services! All the front desk staff were courteous and helpful. Staying continuous 3 nights in such prestigious branded hotel without regret, I ve checked in with an upgrade and late checkout from the morning and the overnight staff. A surprising souvenir offered from Leon, and the door man was also helpful to carrying our luggage and directing the taxi direction. Very much enjoyed the fresh fruit to start cycling each morning, I'd suggest to take sporty route nearby. Then the hotel maybr can offer a little more mouthful healthy snack to make Hampton morning tradition more attractive. Overall, we pretty enjoyed the stay and will come again next time! "An amazing stay! Direct access to Hongqiao Terminal 1. The swimming pool and room had amazing views and we really enjoyed watching the planes. The room was clean and very new and it was helpful having a separate toilet to the shower. Many of the staff spoke good English and were very friendly and welcoming."

"Location: nearby Pudong airport (30 mins by car) and Disneyland Shanghai (15 mins by car). Cleanliness: very tidy and well organized. Service: 100 out of 10, owner was very friendly helpful. Everyday breakfast is difference. Facilities: Interested designed. Me and my BF come from Germany, owner very helful use translate for more understanding. Moreover, they have car-pooling 2 ways to Disneyland. There also 3 dogs in here and super cute ! I will come back definately if I have chance in future, highly recommend this accomodation."

"Wyndham Garden Hotel Shanghai: A delightful and unexpected trip. This trip to Shanghai, choosing the Wyndham Garden Hotel Pudong, completely exceeded our expectations. It's truly a gem! From the moment we stepped off the bus, we were immediately impressed by the attentive service. The front desk check-in was efficient and quick, and they proactively explained the facilities and attractions with a friendly smile. Our room was spacious and bright, featuring a brand-new, fully intelligently controlled design. The oversized floor-to-ceiling windows let in an incredible amount of light. The 2.4-meter-high bed was soft and comfortable, like being wrapped in a cloud. The linens were clean and odorless, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms, with separate wet and dry areas, were fully equipped, even providing amenities like umbrellas and irons, a testament to the meticulous care of the management. The dining experience was even more delightful. The restaurant's breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, a fusion of Chinese and Western cuisine, featuring both local specialties and Western dishes. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. In the evening, we enjoyed a drink in the lobby bar, which was particularly relaxing, complemented by the fragrance of flowers and plants in the outdoor garden. The hotel offers incredibly convenient transportation, offering free shuttles to six destinations, including Disneyland and the Safari Park. Pudong Airport is just a 20-minute drive away. A 24-hour gym, outdoor infinity pool, and children's playground are all available, making it perfect for both business trips and family getaways. The stress-free stay was truly relaxing, leaving all my worries behind. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai!"

"Amazing experience above expectations. The hotel is in the middle of the centre, 10 minutes from the station, the staff is amazing most of them speaking English and knowing everything you can ask for as advice. The room was really spacious, spotless clean, equipped with everything you could imagine and the breakfast was beyond expectations. The concierge service was also amazing. I will definitely return myself and recommend this hotel to everyone."
