"Shangri-La Impression Tianlu Hotel is nestled between Shika Snow Mountain and Napa Lake, where traditional ******* white buildings blend with snow-capped mountains and grasslands to form a breathtaking landscape. The highlight is the rooftop infinity hot spring, offering panoramic views of the plateau while you soak, though it can be quite windy in winter, so be prepared. The guest rooms combine ******* elements with modern amenities, featuring central heating to combat the high-altitude chill and soundproof windows for a peaceful night's sleep. The service is attentive, with paid shuttle services and customized itineraries available. Breakfast includes local specialties like highland barley cake. It offers great value for money during the off-season, but for scenic rooms during peak season, booking in advance is a must. This hotel is perfect for travelers seeking a unique experience, and having a car makes it even more convenient, as it's only a 10-minute drive from the ancient town. It's excellent, truly excellent. I stayed for 2 days and had a wonderful experience. The room even has a fireplace, which is a really nice touch."

Adjacent to the Tiger Leaping Gorge hiking trail, the manor is a short walk from the Chama Café Observation Deck. The manor features an original ecological mountain style. Guest rooms retain the warm texture of wooden structures, paired with simple and comfortable bedding and private bathrooms, embodying mountain simplicity without sacrificing living convenience. During the day, explore the Tiger Leaping Gorge High Road, one of the "world's top ten boutique hiking trails"; in the evening, watch the sunset dye the river valley red; at night, sleep to the sound of the canyon wind, and immerse yourself in the comfort of "living in the scenery".

"I've never embarked on such a thrilling journey. The hotel is spectacularly perched on the side of the Jinsha River Grand Canyon, halfway up the mountain, with a sheer cliff face on one side and the deep canyon on the other. When booking, I honestly didn't pay much attention to the exact location. I simply looked for a hotel near Tiger Leaping Gorge, as we planned to visit it the next day. But as we navigated there in the afternoon, driving up the mountainside, even my husband, a very experienced driver, started to get nervous. The road was incredibly steep – perhaps a 40-50 degree incline? – and what made it truly terrifying was that on one side was the sheer drop into the Jinsha River Grand Canyon, with the powerful river rushing below. It was an extreme test of nerve. I was so scared I couldn't utter a word, my mind racing with thoughts of unfinished business. When we finally reached the hotel, perched precariously on the mountain, we met other guests who confessed they were too scared to drive back down and needed the hotel owner to take them. Despite the adventurous journey to get there, the hotel's scenery is absolutely unparalleled. It truly embodies the saying, 'the most spectacular views are found in the most treacherous peaks.' This hotel has deep roots in the ancient Tea Horse Road. It's situated in a pivotal location along the Tea Horse Road, attracting many international trekkers and hikers. The owner himself is an avid hiking enthusiast. It was such an unforgettable experience that my husband said he wants to make a special trip back. Next time, with this experience under our belts, we'd definitely park our car at the foot of the mountain and have the hotel pick us up. Alternatively, you could arrange for the hotel to drive your car up for you. Of course, if you're an adventure-seeker, you might enjoy the challenge! Haha."

"We booked two rooms and got upgraded to a suite. The room was huge, and we could even see the 'Sun-kissed Golden Mountain' (a local scenic view) right from our bed. This hotel is definitely worth a visit, especially if you're going to Laoyaoshan; I highly recommend staying here for a night. The hotel's hard and soft furnishings and facilities are all excellent. Breakfast was plentiful, and dinner at the hotel only cost tens of yuan per person, with so much food we couldn't finish it all. The dried beef jerky at the restaurant was the best I've had during my entire Yunnan trip. You don't have to worry about the cold at night; the hotel's duvets are super warm. The next day, you can just head out the hotel door for a horseback ride up Laoyaoshan. We were very lucky to see the 'Sun-kissed Golden Mountain' again."

"After a long search, I finally settled on this hotel, and the moment we walked through the camp's gates, I knew we'd made the right decision. The hotel is situated on Shangri-La's vast grasslands, and the crabapple tree grove within the camp is absolutely stunning, perfect for photos. A wooden boardwalk leads to a cozy coffee cabin on a small island in the lake. The staff there were incredibly friendly; as hotel guests, we even got a discount on our order and a complimentary mini-cake. We also tried kayaking on the high-altitude lake, which was a blast! The camp also has lambs and sika deer, and our kids spent an entire afternoon happily playing with them. In the evening, soaking in the hot spring under a blanket of stars was pure bliss – I haven't felt that relaxed in ages. On the second day, the camp manager arranged a customized light trek for us through a 'secret realm' of Pudacuo's primeval forest, which was an amazing surprise! Walking through the dense forest, the vegetation was incredibly lush, and the air was so fresh. I'd anticipated the trek might be a bit tiring, but with gentle slopes and such stunning scenery, we completed it before we even realized it – time truly flew by! Our professional guide meticulously explained the forest's rare plants and animals to the kids, turning it into a real-life nature classroom. Plus, the packed meals provided were very clean and hygienic. 👍 This trip truly exceeded all our expectations. We had hoped to also try the off-road route up to Abuji Lake, but time didn't permit, so we'll save that for next time! From the exceptional service and personalized itineraries to the hotel's fantastic environment and facilities, everything was simply superb. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! If you're visiting Shangri-La, this is definitely the place to stay!"

"The best hotel I stayed in during this trip, it is not an exaggeration to give it a full score. The hotel should be the best hotel in Haba Village. After checking in, I felt full of care in every detail. The rooms and public areas are very beautiful. I don't want to miss every second of living here. You can see the snow-capped mountains while lying in the room. The room is very clean and has a projector. I watched a movie with my friends in the evening. The manager also prepared barbecue for us very considerately. It was so comfortable to look at the snow-capped mountains and eat barbecue while drinking beer. The bedding is also very comfortable. I slept very well before hiking. The food in the store is also very good, and the freshly killed chicken soup is delicious. My friends and we are very sorry that the itinerary only arranged one night. On the way back, we were looking forward to going again!"

"It was really great. It was my first time to experience camping. It was really cold in Shangri-La Haba Snow Mountain in November, but it was really great to sit in the camp and look at the Haba Snow Mountain opposite. It was really nice to feel the tranquility and beauty. The B&B is in American camping style. There are about 10 campsites. The furniture styles inside are designed and arranged by the owner himself. It is very warm. If there are many people coming together, you can sing by the bonfire at night. The foot of the snow mountain is so beautiful. The owner and the proprietress of the B&B are very nice. They also raised a very well-behaved and enthusiastic German Shepherd. They can guard the house at night and ask for food when eating. Hahaha, there is also a coffee shop at the foot of the mountain, which is also super good. If the weather is good, three or two people will get together in the coffee shop at night to chat about life and look at the starry sky. It is beautiful. It happened to rain when I came to Haba Snow Mountain this time, so I didn’t see Haba Snow Mountain, but camping on rainy days has a different flavor. I always have to leave some regrets and look forward to the next wonderful encounter."
