Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh Airport

The service attitude was great, and the environment was lovely too. However, the alarm in the room kept going off, and people kept knocking on the door to check throughout the night, so I barely got any sleep. I hope to receive official feedback regarding this.

The hotel is super close to the airport, just a 5-minute walk, which is perfect for anyone catching an early flight. They also have a self-service mini-mart on the first floor where you can grab snacks and toiletries.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Edinburgh. The front desk staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. I hope they can put a microwave on the ground floor for guests to use.

For a hotel that costs nearly 1000 RMB, they didn't even provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers. I had to buy everything again. Downstairs, a toothbrush was 4.5p and toothpaste was 4p per tube, and there were no slippers for sale. The hotel room was terrible – the bed was tiny, the bathroom wasn't a wet/dry separation, and the air conditioning wasn't warm enough. There was also a door in my room connecting to the next room, which felt very unsafe and made for a really bad experience. The only good thing was that the platform customer service was excellent; they responded and dealt with the issue promptly and even offered cash compensation for the price difference.

The bathroom wasn't thoroughly cleaned, the gym didn't even provide paper cups, the room phone was out of order, and the front desk staff at night were incredibly rude. The only good thing about this place is its proximity to the airport. To top it all off, when I checked my booking, it was over 2000 a night, which made me even angrier!

The room size was decent, and the location was excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the airport. The facilities and breakfast were quite average, but it was very convenient as an airport hotel.
