"Amazing hotel! Everything is super clean and well-maintained it feels like the place is regularly updated. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the linens are always fresh and clean. The room has everything you need: tea, coffee, and drinking water. There’s also a water dispenser on the floor, which is very convenient.
The pool is clean, and there’s direct access to the sea. In the evenings, they even show movies such a nice touch!
The staff is polite, friendly, and always ready to help.
Breakfast is only 100,000 IDR and it’s a full buffet fish, meat, vegetables, tea, coffee, waffles if you like something sweet, and a couple of muffins are always available. For this price, the service is simply outstanding!
Perfect for a romantic getaway, a family trip, or a vacation with friends. I highly recommend this hotel a true gem by the sea. More to come! 😊"

"This is a fantastic hotel! It's located near the pier but far enough from the main bar area, so it's quiet at night. It's also a quick walk if you need to buy anything. The hotel breakfast is excellent, with a great variety of homemade bread and different main dishes, all very tasty. The staff are warm and polite, and the pool is also wonderful. Compared to another hotel of the same price point we stayed at in the northern part of the island, Pearl is superior in every aspect."

"This island is only a main street with a sidewalk block and no inside. You walk and you get soil on your feet. You can wash your hands at the entrance of the hotel. I'm barefoot at this hotel, but I think it's good to bring indoor slippers. It was nice to have a water purifier so I didn't buy water anymore. There was a local supermarket right opposite the hotel, so it was easy to buy sweets and beer. Within 10 minutes walk to the port, when you want to eat Korean food, walk to Sunshine Dive ... Turtle Points ... 5 days of the 6 days, walk around, rent a bike to see the sunset one day, and go southwest.
If you come inside from the port, there's a house where locals live, and I think it's good to go quietly so that they don't get disturbed. First, you greet them, and they smile and they greet you."

"Honestly, this is a very good hotel, ideally located in a quiet area, just a 5-minute bike ride from both the east and west coasts (which I don't recommend for swimming). The staff are friendly, but that's common in Bali and Lombok. The value for money is very appealing. My only minor complaint is that the breakfast and restaurant portions were a bit small. Otherwise, I highly recommend it."

"Although this hotel is rated 5-star, it really doesn't live up to it anymore. I'd say it's a maximum of 4-star, everything feels a bit worn out. The biggest plus is its location, especially if you're looking for clean water without the boats and gas fumes you'd find near a port.
For two consecutive nights, we heard someone running and making noise in the attic room above us. We asked the staff to check it out, and they said everything was fine, but it happened again the next night. It sounded like cats.
On the positive side, the in-room internet was good, and having Netflix was a nice bonus."

A cozy paradise with turtles by the shore and kind hearts💕🏝️ Our vacation in Gili exceeded all expectations, and this amazing hotel is a great credit for this. We found exactly what we were looking for: a quiet, cozy corner where every detail is created for relaxation. The premier room was made with comfort. The bed is incredibly comfortable and soft. The cleanliness was perfect, which was monitored daily, and the snow-white linen added a sense of homely comfort. A special delight is the bathroom with an open roof — taking a shower under the stars was magical.🛁 The hotel is surrounded by greenery and bright colors, 🌸 behind which you can see the tremulous care of the staff. And right across the street, literally 30 seconds away, begins the best beach with giant sea turtles! Seeing them every day by the shore is priceless.🐢 Furry residents: Cute red cats live on the territory, which create a special atmosphere of home warmth. Be sure to feed them when you stop here! And just behind the hotel there is a local shelter for cats. If you have the opportunity, take some food there or make a small donation. It's a small thing for you, but it's a huge help for them.🐈 Special thanks to manager Sam! This man has a big heart. 💖He was incredibly attentive, helped us solve any issues, and told stories about the island and local life with such love that we got into this place even more. Sam, we sincerely wish you a speedy recovery and good health! An amazing place! Tucked away from the main roads and horse trails, it’s peaceful and has a wonderfully secluded vibe. The staff is attentive and friendly, the breakfasts are delicious with a wide variety to choose from. The room was clean, cozy, and everything looked new or very well maintained. Pondok Santi Estate is truly an exceptional place to stay. We stayed at Pondok Santi Estate in Gili Trawangan for four nights, and from the very first moment, everything exceeded our expectations. The level of service is outstanding — a true 5 out of 5 — and the experience feels much more like a five-star luxury resort rather than a hotel. Every detail is beautifully designed and perfectly maintained. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and extremely comfortable. Housekeeping is impeccable, and the staff is attentive without ever being intrusive. The restaurant experience deserves special praise. The food quality, presentation, and service were consistently excellent. Breakfasts were a highlight of our stay — fresh, delicious, and served in a peaceful, beautiful setting that made every morning feel special. What truly sets this resort apart is the warmth and professionalism of the team. From the room staff to the restaurant team, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. Personally, Gili Trawangan itself is not a destination that impressed me greatly. However, Pondok Santi Estate completely transformed our experience and made the island a place I would happily return to again — specifically because of this resort. We feel very fortunate to have stayed here and are deeply grateful for such a memorable and high-quality experience. Pondok Santi Estate is a true sanctuary of comfort, elegance, and exceptional hospitality, and we would not hesitate to return.

What a brilliant place this is. Superb location for the beach, open air cinema, restaurants and bars. Beautiful place, huge room, clean and so comfortable. We really enjoyed the gentle pace and the superb service given to us by the likes of Kadek, Audrey, Sam, Randy and the rest. All happy to help anytime, breakfast served with a smile. Able to rent bicycle and electric bike at the resort. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Great pool, and excellent value for money. Thank you for a wonderful stay guys....

My recent stay at Lumi hotel was enjoyable in many respects. The room quality was excellent clean, and very comfortable. The pool and common areas were well-maintained, and the location is fantastic for catching the sunset. However, I feel compelled to address a consistent observation regarding the level of service provided. While the staff were generally polite, I noticed a distinct and recurring prioritization of Caucasian/Western guests over those of Asian descent. I recognize that providing excellent service is challenging, but true hospitality means making every single person feel equally seen and valued, regardless of their nationality or appearance. The staff should treat all guests with the same high standard of enthusiasm and attention.

Perfect small hotel! It’s clean. Breakfast is tasty (pancakes or omelette + fruits + good Lombok coffee or tea). Proposing snorkeling tour in Kidi’ Lodge can be strongly recommended for its various excessive program and professional staff at a reasonable price. There is possibility to pay by Visa/Mastercard in the hotel.

GGuest UserDon’t believe the pictures in the advertisement! They don’t reflect reality. The pictures pretend that the hotel is at least a 4 * location. The truth is that this is not the case! It is located at a very poor area in mid of the island where local people burn their trash including plastic. The smell is disgusting it is everywhere, in your room also during night and it burns in your eyes. The hotel is run by a group of very young unprofessional boys and I would like to emphasise that they are really friendly, kind and helpful and try to do their best. They also prepare breakfast in a kitchen which is disgusting! Therefore, I preferred to have breakfast at a proper place even though breakfast was included. See the attached fotos to get an impression what expects you and better choose another hotel if you want to enjoy your holidays. I had to pay 400 € for 3 nights, it is not worth half the price. I tried to get a reimbursement but the hotel didn’t accept. They obviously see the hotel as a cash cow and not a place where their guest should feel comfortable. This was very frustrating! At the end Trip. com accepted my complaint and offered me help. My advice: Choose a hotel at the beach, there are so many!
