This Sudima is one of the few hotels that can truly compare to those in China!"

"The hotel is conveniently located directly across from the Art Center, and very close to the Sky House and Botanical Gardens. Our room was on the second floor, but there's no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up ourselves. The room itself has a very spacious terrace, more than enough room for two suitcases. The kitchen facilities are also well-equipped and easy to use. The bus stop is about 100m walk from the hotel. The number 8 bus goes to the airport, costs 4 dollars each, and you can pay with cash."

"The location is excellent, just a 10-15 minute walk from the airport. McDonald's, KFC, and a supermarket are all within a 5-minute walk, and the Antarctic Centre is also right next door. I stayed in a female dorm capsule bed. It was clean, and the shared bathrooms were decent. There's also a common area with a kitchen, including shared refrigerators, microwaves, pots, pans, and cutlery. You can relax on the sofas or hammocks. My bunk had USB ports and power outlets, and there's a locker with a combination lock underneath. For this price and environment, it's a perfect score."

"This hotel offers excellent value for money in Christchurch. It's about 7-8 kilometers from the airport, similar to a 'Home Inn' or 'JI Hotel' in China – well-equipped and comfortable. The front desk service was warm and patient. My child was sick, and when I requested a late check-out, the Caucasian gentleman at the front desk readily agreed. Thumbs up! 👍"

"Second time I've stayed here. First visit couldn't fault. This visit Requested a room with a balcony when I booked three weeks ago. This did not occur Early check in as I was going to the cricket. Could not do Issues with the tv and not getting the channel I wanted Spa bath - did not work Lying in the bath, looking at the toilet from under the eye line. Totally discusting, big build up of unclean scum Even if the spa bath was working, no soap/bubble bath provided. Really quite disappointing as my last visit was great"

"I stayed in North south holiday park on the day of arrival and the night pre departure from Christchurch. It is located about 5 mins drive or 45 mins walk from CHC international airport. You can book their airport shuttle ($5 per pax) during operational hours or the front desk can order a taxi for you at a cheaper price. Amenities are complete and cleanliness is well maintained. The only set back is there is no eateries within short walking distance except burgerking, but not a problem if you come with a car or you can cook at their kitchen(with utensils provided)"

"2 large and 1 small, very suitable motel, small bed in the living room. The kitchen can be simply cooked, with salt and pepper and cutlery, not far from the supermarket and Mall, in front of the main road, shopping for food, the room is very clean, the boss is Chinese, very nice, anxious to forget to bring the adapter Lend us one, I want to buy it when I go, she gave it directly to us, and the return journey from Christchurch, it would be OK to go down the road. TV can also watch Netflix (movie)"

"This motel was incredibly convenient, proving that a road trip really does call for a motel stay. First off, its location in Christchurch is excellent. It's right next to the Botanical Gardens, super easy to drive to the city center, and getting to the airport is quick. Though the hotel isn't large, it's clean and hygienic. The front desk staff were very welcoming and enthusiastically recommended a delicious restaurant nearby. During our two-day stay, they changed our towels and emptied the trash – such thoughtful service! Overall, it offers great value for money. If you want to avoid parking fees in Christchurch, I highly recommend staying here. The room was very spacious; we had all our luggage spread out for the last two days and still had plenty of room."

"I would rate this hotel higher if I could. Location was extremely convenient, and we were able to be at the airport check-in counter within less than 5 minutes from exiting the hotel. The room was spacious, the toilet was very clean, the staff were polite and helpful, and there was a water refill station on our level which was very convenient. There was also a luggage weighing scale at the first floor which allowed us to measure our luggage before we flew back. Overall a very good experience staying at this hotel and would strongly recommend for anyone flying out of Christchurch to stay here."

GGuest UserMy friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well! The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details. The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up. Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :)) I didn't get many good photos but here you go!
