The Maladee Rendezvous Hotel Chiang Mai provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Chiang Mai will find that the Maladee Rendezvous Hotel Chiang Mai is a fantastic accommodation choice. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Chiang Mai Railway Station located approximately 3km away and Chiang Mai International Airport roughly 6km away. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Wua Lai Walking Street(Saturday Night Market), Kalare Night Bazaar and Tha Phae Road. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Chiang Mai hotel features parking on site. If cleanliness is important to you, this hotel makes an excellent choice, as our guests consider this to be one of the cleanest hotels in the city. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling as a couple.

"Just checked out of Maladee Rendezvous Hotel Chiang Mai after a 2-day, 1-night stay, and I’m quickly jotting down my thoughts while the memories are still fresh. To sum it up: the service was so good it almost felt a little overwhelming, details fanatics will go wild, but there were a few minor flaws. 🤝 Service is absolutely top-notch From the moment we stepped in, staff members rushed out with smiles to help with our luggage, saying it felt like visiting a friend's house – that's how warm and welcoming they were. During check-in, we sat on a sofa and enjoyed pandan iced tea, and a lovely lady who spoke Chinese gave us a tour of the entire hotel, explaining each facility in great detail. The next day, my mom couldn't figure out the bathroom faucet, and someone from the front desk came up to show her within 3 minutes – excellent attitude. 🛏️ Room is spacious, but the AC is a bit weak The room was indeed very spacious, with a balcony overlooking the pool, which my mom loved. However, my dad said that even with the AC on full blast, it was only slightly cool, and he felt a bit stuffy in the middle of the night, needing to turn on the fan to feel comfortable. Also, the TV was noticeably old, and the picture quality wasn't high-definition. But the mattress and pillows were very comfortable; my mom said she slept soundly through the night. 🍳 Breakfast remains a highlight They raved about the breakfast, which was cooked to order. We ordered mango sticky rice and Thai fish ball noodles, and they were so delicious we wanted to have more. The fruits at the buffet were also very fresh. Plus, there was complimentary afternoon tea, and my mom said the cheesecake was better than many coffee shops outside. 🏊 Pool is beautiful, but not much time to use it The pool area was gorgeous, but they said it was too sunny in the morning, and in the afternoon, they were out sightseeing. In the end, they only dipped into the warm pool briefly. They didn't visit the gym because it was too small, with only a few machines. 📍 Location issue They also mentioned that the hotel isn't close to the city center. Every time they wanted to go to Nimman Road, they had to take a Grab, which cost about 200 baht. However, the hotel offered a free shuttle to the Old City, but it required coordinating schedules. 💬 Conclusion Overall, my mom was satisfied with the service and environment, but the AC and TV were the two hardware aspects that gave her pause. If the hotel were to replace the old TV and improve the AC, she said she would definitely stay again next time. But as it stands, she would advise those with high AC requirements to inquire about the room type beforehand, otherwise, sleeping at night might be a bit uncomfortable. This review was written on behalf of others; these are genuine user opinions, absolutely no paid advertisements 😂."

"First off, I have to say the hotel staff were absolutely wonderful. Their service attitude was top-notch. I brought leftovers from a restaurant back to the hotel on two separate days, and they kindly reheated them for me, even putting them in clean bowls. A huge thank you to them! Normally, I don't leave reviews, but this time I really felt compelled to. I stayed at the hotel for three nights, and starting from the second night, I had two consecutive nights of hives outbreaks on my thighs, back, and arms. I had to go to 7-Eleven in the middle of the night to buy calamine lotion and allergy medication. The reason I suspect the hotel is the cause is because I stayed at two other hotels in Bangkok for four days without any issues. But during my three-night stay here, I had problems on two of those nights. And on the day I returned home, I didn't have any more outbreaks. After thinking it over, it's possible the hotel has allergens. I've narrowed down the potential triggers to these: 1. The showerhead might be dirty, or the shower water itself isn't clean (the water pressure was really low). 2. The air conditioning unit is old, and it feels like the filters haven't been cleaned, as the air coming out felt damp and stale. 3. There might have been renovations happening on the 7th floor recently, as I noticed a paint-like smell."

"Lovely hotel smack in the middle of the old city. Walking in from the busy streets outside and into this hotel feels like you have just entered a paradise. There are smartly dressed doormen to welcome and help you with your luggage. As we settled in to check in, there is a welcome drink and some local sweets to take away dinner of the fuss. The room is spacious and the bed was comfortable. The afternoon tea is a novelty and we looked forward to seeing what was different each day. The breakfast was OK. The pool and the gym looked great but we were too busy with other things to really use them. Generally, the staff were efficient and helpful. The only complaint we had was the noise from the school next door so if you plan to stay and relax in your room during the day on a weekday, ask for a room on the other side. Also, if you attract mosquitoes, bring an insect repellent if you plan to sit on the balcony."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Stay Every Time in Chiang Mai This was my third time staying at U Nimman Chiang Mai, and I truly believe it will be my first choice every time I return to Chiang Mai. My family loves the hotel's perfect location right in the heart of Nimman, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and local attractions. The staff are always friendly, professional, and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. On the first night of this visit, our room was affected by some noise from a nearby bar. I mentioned it to the hotel the next day, and the team responded immediately by arranging another room for us. The new room was exceptionally quiet, and we were very impressed by how quickly and professionally they handled the situation. The excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and unbeatable location keep bringing us back. Thank you to the wonderful team at U Nimman Chiang Mai. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip! Highly recommended! ❤️🏨✨"

"Overall, very good! The soundproofing in the room is excellent; even though it's in an entertainment district, the music doesn't filter in. The bed is soft, and the room is spacious and clean. My only minor gripes are that the bedroom curtains should be thicker to block out more light in the morning, as the sunlight woke me up. Also, the breakfast could offer more variety for the price. I'd give it an 8/10."

"Beautiful boutique hotel in the old city of Chiang Mai. Very good location, you can walk and Grab to any where and it is cheap. Hotel is very clean and quiet. Service is good. The hotel has a restaurant call Poppy Kitchen, food is tasty and reasonable for hotel price. The only thing is that they don't have a swimming pool. The night market on Sunday is just outside the hotel. Many eateries, massage at this area. For cheaper ones walk further from the main road. It takes only 15 - 20 minutes to the airport."

Bathroom quite small and patching everywhere. However, when we complaint about the room cleanliness, the hotel owner took care of it right away. And we see improvement of the staff greeting and start cleaning lobby floors windows. Tables. Actually this hotel is set in great location, great design, if properly maintained, better management team provide more training to staffs it will be one of the great b2. Overall, the property has a pleasant concept, and the surrounding greenery creates a very nice jungle‑resort, exotic atmosphere. The natural environment is well‑designed and enjoyable but my 2 nights stay came with several issues that future guests may want to be aware of. Considering the price, there are much better options in the area that offer a more comfortable experience and better facilities. 1. Privacy & Layout The architectural layout offers very limited privacy. From the balcony, neighboring rooms are directly visible, which made it difficult to use the outdoor space comfortably. 2. Cleanliness & Hygiene Some areas of the room were not thoroughly cleaned. The built‑in storage under the bed had visible dust and dirt, making it unsuitable for storing clean clothes. In the shower area, the pebble‑style floor creates many hard‑to‑clean corners. Before I even used the shower, I noticed hair and even ***** hair trapped between the stones. During showering, water drained extremely slowly, causing the floor to flood and submerge above my feet under standing water. This design makes the area prone to bacteria buildup and was uncomfortable to use, especially for female guests during sensitive times. 3. Bathroom Fixtures The handheld bidet spray had extremely strong pressure and ice‑cold water, which made it uncomfortable to use—especially for women during sensitive days. 4. Safety & Property Layout The property’s terrain is quite complex, with multiple staircases and uneven levels. At night, many areas are poorly lit, which can be unsafe if guests are not watching their step. Some decorative reflective pieces hanging from trees also create a rather unsettling atmosphere after dark. The corridor near my room remained unlit at night, making the area feel dim and uncomfortable. Additionally, during rainy weather, several outdoor areas accumulated water, making certain paths slippery and less safe to walk through. 5. Room FacilitiesvThe room does not have a wardrobe or proper clothing hangers. The only hanging option is a decorative tree‑branch style rack, which is suitable for small items but not for clothing. As a result, clothes can only be placed on the balcony, where humidity and rain make it difficult to keep them dry.vThere is also no bedside lamp or reading light, which makes the room not work‑friendly.vAdditionally, there is no luggage rack or storage space, so suitcases must be kept on the floor throughout the stay. 6. Condition of FacilitiesvMany parts of the property appear worn down and in need of maintenance. In the dining area, several corners and edges show visible deterioration, and I noticed areas with water leakage. Overall, the facilities feel quite aged and could benefit from repairs and updates. 7. Service & CommunicationvThere is no phone in the room, and front desk service ends around 10 PM. Even after I added the property’s contact information, my door was still knocked on at night despite having a “Do Not Disturb” sign displayed. Complimentary water was provided, but only when requested; it was not proactively replenished. 8. Deposit & BreakfastvThe property requires a cash deposit upon arrival, which feels unusual considering the age and condition of the facilities. Breakfast was provided, but the quality was noticeably lower compared to other homestays in the area. 9. Additional Safety ConcernsvI found a sharp, hard plastic piece in a dish I ordered. I pulled it out from my mouth, and I almost swallowed it. The meal was remade, but the original dish was not waived.vThe bathroom door lock also malfunctioned once. There were also quite a few jumping spiders in the room due to the environment, likely because regular insect control is not performed. I requested insect spray from the front desk, and they did respond quickly and helped resolve it.

I stayed here for three nights. The pool was lovely, and while some rooms had great layouts, others were just okay, but all were very clean. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming; they greeted me warmly every time I passed by, and their English was excellent, making communication very smooth. The hotel is located near Chiang Mai University, with a large night market right next door. The food there was delicious, and I ended up eating dinner at the market every evening. The laundry service in front of the hotel was very affordable and efficient.

This was the hotel my kids were most excited about. When I booked, I saw that children weren't allowed on the ground floor with pool access, so I had to book two rooms. I was worried they'd make a big deal about the kids not being allowed on the first floor at check-in, but they didn't at all, and they even welcomed the little ones! The kids had a blast in the pool, totally worth the price. The afternoon tea desserts, honestly, weren't really anything edible. I thought there would be mini cakes or something, but it was just self-serve dried pumpkin and dried banana 😂. However, the hotel's location is excellent, very close to the old town with plenty of food and shopping nearby. The only thing I couldn't quite get used to was the breakfast at this vegetarian hotel – no eggs, surprisingly, haha. Oh, and by the way, the packaged snacks next to the bottled water aren't complimentary; they charged for them at checkout!

The room was very clean and quiet, even though it was on the first floor. However, the overall facilities are quite far from what you'd expect from a star-rated hotel. It feels like a very ordinary hotel. It's only hyped up on Xiaohongshu (XHS) because of its architectural style, which is supposedly good for photos. In reality, it's quite unremarkable. All drinks require extra tax and service charges, and the prices are similar to top-tier hotels, which is a bit absurd. Overall, it's just very ordinary. If you like this style, you can stay here.

This is hands down one of the best stays away from home I have had, 11 out of 10 to put it plainly. I consider myself a seasoned traveller, and have stayed at most of the name brand 5 star chains (4 seasons, Regent, Ritz Carlton etc) and many boutique hotels (small luxury hotels of the world etc) across in Asia, Africa and the West. By any standard of hospitality, Villa Mahabirom stands out, where you feel comfortable in luxury and well cared for by the staff. The property is very private, even if it is only 15 minutes away from the international airport, a private oasis hidden from sight - you wouldn't know it exists just passing it by. It is small with 15 villas, so even at maximum capacity I can imagine it remains serene and peaceful. While we were there, there were a few guests and it did feel as if the entire property belonged to us, which isn't bad at all! The occasional plane passing overhead is not Each villa is unique, and as I read, assembled from century-old collections of old Thai houses from across the country, painstakingly reassembled. If you are looking for that sense of culture and heritage, look no further. There are other standouts in Chaing Mai such as Rachamankha (which I have visited), but Villa Mahabirom doesn't play second fiddle to them in my opinion. The high ceilings of our room (#101) gives you a huge sense of space, and the large bathroom is marble tiled, making for a great contrast between the ancient and the modern. Sheets, pillows, bathrobes, all the basics are super clean and fresh, nothing less than what you would expect at a major outfit like the Four Seasons. One of the most creative aspects of this hotel experience is the ability to hangout at around 5 curated public spaces across the property, each with a unique set of chairs/couches, Thai furniture and sculptures. Great for early morning Yoga, reading a book in the afternoon, or hanging out at night with a drink. It's not a big property.  The pool might be considered on the small side, but again, with only a limited number of villas, it's rarely crowded, and we were able to enjoy a private pool experience on each of the 3 days we were there. Above all, the service here, the care and attention is important to mention. My other half had to stay behind at the hotel with a different flight time on our last day, and we extended her late checkout to 2PM, which was further extended to 8PM proactively by the staff later in the day - they probably realised that the room didn't have an incoming guest, but regardless, I've never seen that type of consideration anywhere else. Service during dining is impeccable, you always feel someone is waiting on you, to take your order or keep your glass full, little details that used to be standard but are slipping away more and more. The only thing that I wish could be improved is that the front desk does close at 10PM, leaving one a bit worried about late night requests or issues. To wrap up, this isn't a property with grand views, or built on the top of a mountain, or have 300 rooms with 2 bars and 6 Michelin star restaurants - and for me that's perfectly fine because it stands tall on it's own terms in the boxing ring.

An amazing hotel! 🛏️Room type: We booked a twin room, and the overall space was pretty decent. 🍃Environment: Excellent! There's an outdoor pool, a garden, and gazebos. You could easily spend half a day just at the hotel – the facilities are fantastic! For aviation enthusiasts, you can even see planes flying over the hotel! It's absolutely brilliant! Of course, because of the planes, it can get a little noisy ☹️. 🧼Cleanliness: Very good, much cleaner than I expected, with no major issues. However, a small suggestion for the hotel: the cleaning under the beds could be more thorough; it could use a good clean. 💁‍♂️Service: Very enthusiastic! 🍭Value for money: Excellent value, especially if you booked the hotel for 160-260 HKD. 📍Transportation: Very convenient. It's only about a twenty-minute drive from the airport, and getting to the old city center by motorbike takes just over ten minutes. It's convenient to get anywhere as it's located on the main road.

This was my second stay here. Even though the hotel has a traditional design, I love its convenient location. It's easy to get around, and the price is reasonable. The breakfast is complete and good, and the room is cleaned daily with cool air conditioning. I'll book this place again next time I'm in Chiang Mai.

We really loved this hotel. The room was large, clean, and beautifully designed. The pool was also great. It is also in a great location right night to one of the main night markets, and nearby everything else. But the best thing were the friendly and helpful staff. Especially Eve who helped us find some nice local places, and made great reccomendations on what to see and do which really enhanced our trip. Thank you so much!

If you want a room with good price located inside old town then you should consider this place. However there are some pro and con for your information. Pro: reasonable price. Great location. Friendly staffs swimming pool. Con: room should be a bit more clean than that. AC was really loud.
