Inverkip Hotel

We booked at table on the 8th April for my partners 75th birthday and it was a pleasure from the moment we sat down. The ambience of the hotel lends itself to quiet evenings with friends and/ or larger groups, a beautifully maintained building internally and externally. We were served attentively by the staff members on duty that evening; the attention to detail and professionalism of the staff made the evening a success. The food was beautifully presented and nothing was left on the plates!! To round off the evening, one of the staff who had been our waitress presented my partner with a slice of birthday cake, we had mentioned the occasion was a birthday, and they had obviously taken that on board - thankyou to all the staff, from front of house, to kitchen staff your efforts were greatly appreciated. We will be back.

Vegan diet. Been before. Friendly efficient staff. Nice place .Food was reasonable. This time menu changed. Both meals poor on quality quantity and taste. Left hungry and frustrated. Can’t understand why management think these vegan choices are in any way equivalent to traditional meals on menu. More like a starter than a meal. Not filling and same price as traditional menu. Tokenistic . No real effort. Won’t be going back.

Had my Dads 80th Birthday in the restaurant with our family The staff here were brilliant they made his day special nothing was too much trouble and food was served quickly and was delicious they dressed back room for us with banners etc a super day Thank you Inverkip Hotel

What a lovely wee place. Came here with my son when the Rothesay ferry was cancelled. Was pretty stressed but this place made me relax quickly. Lovely breakfast in the morning. Would recommend the scrambled eggs and bacon. Waitress Amelia was a cheery face, giving great service. All the staff were great. Looking forward to missing the ferry again!

Afternoon tea experience. A Xmas event but not a cracker in sight or Xmas tree. For the cost better quality sandwiches. No sausage rolls. Pigs in blankets instead. Had to ask several times for tea fill up. Surely a pot would have been better . Expensive for what it was.

The staff here are fantastic. We stayed for one night and were shown to our room by danny . Room was tiny and basic too be honest needs modernised but we were only there 1 night . We stayed before in the old drapery which was a big room but again needs modernised. We had dinner in the conservatory which was lovely and modern . We were served by lana and emilia and given a glass of prosecco each because I'd mentioned in my booking that it was our anniversary. The food was lovely apart from my burger which was over cooked and returned to kitchen i declined another meal as my husband would have finished his food before i got mine . Blair gave us both a cocktail each as an apology. We would definitely come back as the staff are what make it . So professional, friendly and attentive .

Ordered our meals today 8th October.I ordered the small haddock meal and received four tiny fish goujons less that three inches long and 18 chips This was an absolute joke as I though I would receive a small piece of Haddock. I didn’t want to complain in front of the family . I’m sure the kid’s menu would have had more on the plate . Small portion should be half of the standard meal so get your act together and supply the meal to match the cost you are charging customers. Be warned customers you are not getting a small fish but in my opinion you get four fish bites

Five stars all the way!! Amazing food, Amazing friendly helpful and courteous staff, and an Amazing atmosphere!! Highly recommended!! We have visited here a number of times and the service never fails!!!! Always accommodating, spotless, and the menu caters for all palates!!!

We had a great meal at the Inverkip hotel last week. The food was amazing and so where the staff. My kids loved their kids meals and myself and my wife really enjoyed are steaks.the portions were great. we will definitely be back next time we’re up in Scotland.
