Good location and they allow me to chill in the lobby after check-out. Shared bathroom and the shower works pretty bad. Check-in time must be 3pm while I just arrived from London by overnight train at 8pm and still looking tired but on the end they gave me a room at 12pm.

Arrived at the guesthouse on Monday first impression badly needed decorated paper coming of the walls got up stairs to enter the main part of the guesthouse 1door no glass boarded up with wood no one at reception spoke to one person sitting with a child she told me they wouldn’t belong got keys for the room carpet coming away at the side as you walk in the door, tiles in bathroom very little grout, cupboard/wardrobe coming away from the wall, I opened the drawer of the bedside cabinet not clean particles of tobacco inside the drawer on the window ledge wooden safety gate coming away from the wall tv wires hanging down also a broken lampshade on side light .when we booked the guest house breakfast was available so I paid for bed and breakfast when we got up the next morning went downstairs only to be told we don’t do breakfast anymore I asked why was it still on the web site was told by one of the staff the boss told them it was taken off when they opened up .Also I forgot to mention water wasn’t very hot for a shower. I wouldn’t recommend this guest house

The location is excellent, very close to the station and in the city center. The room is small and it doesn't help you with cleaning. It's not worth the money.

The facilities are very good, but if it is Friday and Saturday, you need to take a break from the nearby bar, where there are people partying all night, not friendly to people who are sensitive to noise

The hotel said that breakfast has been provided, the room is a bit damp, there seems to be water leakage, the wifi speed is very general, and the overall level is only 2 star hotels in China

Booked late due to previous business parameters but suited me perfectly. Situated right in the heart of Inverness train station two mins walk. Buffet style breakfast included in price will stay again when opportunity presents.

Got gloss paint on my jacket and luggage bag. There were wet paint signs in a couple of places but not explaining door frames were wet. Not happy

The only problem is that the Waverley is above other spaces and unfortunately there is no lift which I found a little difficult as stairs are awkward for me being disabled apart from that it's a fantastic place to stay

The room smelled of urin, the window was not isolated in the slightest and the heater did not work, so the room was very cold. All in all not a good experience.

This property was absolutely disgusting. Many thing in the room were broken. There was water leaking into the bathroom. The bar across the street had the music blaring until 4 in the morning

Room was very basic. Open storage with 2 mixed hangers only No towels on arrival, none available when requested. TV did not work - no signal. Not cheap and not cheerful!

Ideal for young people and couples; economical solution in the center of Inverness with Pub's and Restaurant's arround; close by the river and not so far to walk true the sea. coach station in front; close to visit Loch Ness and the Highlands

As soon as I walked in my room smelt strange and it was emanating from the carpet. The room was very simple. I checked my bed sheets and they looked clean but I couldn't get over the smell from the carpet. I had a closer luck with the torch on my phone & spotted a bed bug running along the carpet- I've had experience with bed bugs before so I knew what they looked like. They are an absolute nightmare to get rid of once you have them- so I immediately left the guest house and wandered around Inverness at midnight trying to find somewhere else to stay. I won't book here again and wouldn't recommend.
