Fantastic friendly service. Warmly welcomed and very accommodating and supportive of our special requirements for our 10wk old puppy. Excellent food and relaxing environment. Highly recommend.

This is a really lovely property with amazing warm staff. The bed was very comfy and the communal areas of the hotel are wondeful.

Hotel had a but if creepy feel to me which im sure will suit a lot if people but not me. Felt like i was living in a cluedo board at times.
Shower was excellent and hot.
Food was great.

A magical time away with mum & sister. We spent a big part of the trip in the drawing room planning my sisters wedding… we were well looked after by the bar man! All snug and cosy. There was a storm the first night which made the hotel very atmospheric shall we say… and there was certainly a ‘presence’ felt in our room in the oldest part of the hotel. Highly recommended if you want somewhere nestled away with great staff and cosy atmosphere! We didn’t try the spa but hear it’s good… breakfast was delicious.

Fried breakfast was tired, some having been pre-cooked and over cooked. Butter was from Gloucestershire! Hardly supporting local dairy producers!
