This is a unique hotel filled with natural wood including HUGE solid wood front doors 3 meters tall, solid natural wood stairs, tree branches for hand rails, bamboo covering the ceiling, wood slats on walls, and at the entry a unique wood based glass topped table and unique wooden front counter. This place is beautiful. I was at the most remote room from the front; rear third floor, room 308. This was close to Holy Guacamole restaurant so there was live music played until late at night which was ok for me because I go to bed late.
The internet was poor in my room, if I really wanted signal I had to leave my room and walk towards the front of the hotel to get dependable signal.
During one heavy rain water poured under the wooden window sill and a second time dripped slowly from the ceilings. In both cases it was on the far corner of the room so didn’t really affect me. I took pictures and reported to management, one is an easy fix.
The bed was quite hard here so the bed and internet were the 2 things I wasn’t happy with.
They had a water station with filtered hot and cold water on the first floor.
All in all I would stay here again due to location and uniqueness. I hardly saw anyone in 3 days and other than check in everything else was self service. I didn’t use the coffee shop at the ground floor rear of the building but it looked cozy.
