Irvine Guest House

The room was very poorly lit, no lights apart from small wall lights which being sight impaired I struggled with. Tap was loose and wobbly in bathroom sink.

The guest house was excellent except others using it were not. Signs are needed to close doors quietly as front door bangs very loudly. Those leaving also banged their doors. Arguments in hall in middle of night was awful. I understand this is not owners fault but signage asking to be respectful of others may help. We were wakened at 2am till 4am with the noise. No concern over room which was great.

Great place to stay in the centre of Irvine. Easy to find, allocated parking available for guests - although users of the Portal leisure centre tend to park in them. Instructions for checking in were simple and easy to follow. Rooms are well appointed with hanging space, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, en suite shower. Modern decoration throughout. Easy walking distance to the town centre,

Room was lovely, very clean. Had a wedding to attend nearby and was able to get an early checkin, with no additional charge. Would definitely recommend.

It was perfect, host was reachable. Everything was well organised including each rooms car park which made it feel special

Great room, super clean and easy directions. Parking great too. Unfortunately stayed in a room at the front of the property and got no sleep because the noise of traffic. A room at the back would’ve been better but none available at the time. Great place to stay though.

The surrounding leaves much to be desired but still excellent place to stay - buses nearby & parking to the rear

Private car park. Room clean and comfortable. Key pad entry/no staff required one minor issue was shower leaking below shower head(easy fix) shower working ok,tho all the water not quite coming out where is spsd to

A very comfortable room, well decorated and in a convenient location in Irvine. A short watch to the local retail park and some lovely restaurants within 5 minutes walk. I didn't see the owner, as everything is done remotely and worked fine for me. I used the guest house for a suitable base to tour along the Ayrshire coast.
