AC Hotel by Marriott Irvine

This is my second time staying here. I think it's a relatively clean hotel for this area. The staff were friendly and helpful, which was great. However, I did notice a slight hotel-specific odor in the bathroom, which was a minor concern.

The hotel's front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and tidy, and the space was quite comfortable. The price was also reasonable. They have a swimming pool and a gym, both of which were in use and provided a very pleasant experience.

The room was just a normal room. But the service was terrible! They wrongly accused us of taking food from the front desk and then charged us for it. And when we parked, they somehow overcharged us by an outrageous $800! I was floored. Eventually, the hotel manager apologized profusely and refunded the money. But honestly, this level of irresponsibility is unacceptable. There are huge problems with the overall hotel management!

The room facilities were new and clean, and the amenities were complete, which was great. However, the soundproofing was poor. Even though I'm a heavy sleeper, I woke up four or five times during the night because I could hear everyone opening and closing doors on my floor… The noise from upstairs or next door was also very noticeable. But the front desk service was excellent, the hotel shower gel smelled wonderful, and the location was great—a 10-minute drive to UCI, convenient for dining and shopping.

Upon check-in, I encountered a discrepancy between the breakfast provided and my booking. After contacting Ctrip, they immediately began resolving the issue. Since the transaction was handled through a third party, Ctrip ultimately compensated me through their platform. Thank you for Ctrip's service!

It was my first time staying at AC HOTEL in Irvine and I loved it! The surroundings are great! The facilities are new and the lobby is spacious! Love the AC in Irvine!

The room is clean and tidy, surrounded by wealthy areas, the neighborhood is quiet and safe. Self-parking is in the parking building next door, 28 dollars a day, free access, very good and convenient! The drinks in the lounge on the first floor are also very good, and the staff are very friendly. Very cost-effective, can stay

I stayed at this hotel for a family trip. Late in the afternoon after checking out, I realized I'd left my AirPods behind. I immediately contacted the hotel to check, but they never responded. The AirPods were located close to the hotel, so I went back the next day to check. They made excuses about losing them, but I finally found them after a while. I will never stay at a hotel with AC again.
