Isegekusando Iseshinsen

The food was perfect, absolutely excellent. However, the drain in the indoor bath's washing area was clogged, so about 3 cm of water constantly pooled around my feet and wouldn't drain properly. The shampoo and body soap suds wouldn't wash away, which was consistently unpleasant. The public bath had one indoor bath and one open-air bath, but both only had about 70% of the water level filled. I couldn't feel any water circulation at all, and it didn't seem like the water was being replenished, which also wasn't a pleasant experience, so I gave up on using the tubs. Also, it was raining and I got wet, so I turned on the indoor heating, but an unbearable smell, like a dirty rag being wrung out, spread throughout the entire room. I couldn't stand it, so I turned off the heater and opened all the windows. Lastly, the course meal was absolutely wonderful, and everyone who served us provided polite explanations for each dish, making it a very pleasant experience. All the food was delicious, and I'd give it full marks.

I initially felt the room rate was a bit high, but after staying, I was completely satisfied. The staff were excellent, the room was lovely, and the food was truly delicious. It was well worth the price.

We chose this hotel for our first trip to Ise as a celebration for my husband's retirement. During dinner, my husband choked on some meat (his throat was already narrow), and the staff were very concerned and kindly made the remaining rice into rice balls for him. We were able to relax and enjoy a delicious meal in our room. We would love to visit again. We were also very satisfied with the open-air bath in our room.

We stayed here to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday. They left a message in our room and even changed my 2-year-old niece's meal to a child's menu at the last minute, making it a very satisfying trip for everyone! We would love to stay here again when we visit Ise!

It's conveniently located in front of Ise City Station. The front desk is on the 5th floor. I appreciated being able to choose my yukata (Japanese robe). There's a large public bath with a hot spring, and an open-air bath as well. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. It was just the right distance for a morning stroll to the Outer Shrine. I was glad they held my luggage after check-out.
