Hotel Areaone Ise Inter

The hotel is a bit dated, and the room was quite spacious, but the bathroom was old. The cleanliness was acceptable, but could be improved. The soundproofing in the room wasn't great; there was some noise even when it was quiet. The large parking lot was very convenient for self-driving. The staff provided excellent service, and the price was reasonable. Overall, I was satisfied. 🙂

The staff are incredibly kind and everyone is warm and makes for a very pleasant stay! However, there's a cemetery right in front of and next to the hotel, which is a bit creepy. I could hear a lot of noise leaking in and the sounds of other guests' lives. I couldn't sleep at all. The facility itself is old, so it feels a bit dirty and dusty. But they provide a humidifier, microwave, air purifier, and you can borrow a different type of pillow than the one provided, making it a very thoughtful hotel.

This was my second stay. The last time I stayed, the large public bath was under renovation and unavailable, but this time it was open, so I used it as soon as I arrived and again before checking out. I was able to relax in the large bath. Thank you very much.

The hotel is very close to JR Isuzuoka Station and the bus stop, making it convenient to catch the bus as long as you check the schedule. The breakfast was excellent, satisfying both Japanese and Western options. The hotel provided a wide range of amenities for convenience. During my two-night stay, I visited the Ise Grand Shrine's inner and outer shrines, the Ise Ninja Park, and the Futami Kogyoku Shrine's Momo-iwa (couple's rocks), thoroughly enjoying my visit. The hotel beds would be even better if they were 10-20 centimeters wider (it was too cramped for two people to turn over).

I urgently needed accommodation and stayed here without meals, but the building felt old. The reception staff were fine.

The location is ideal as a base for travel, with a train station within walking distance and several tourist attractions accessible in about 10 minutes by car. There's also a large public bath, although it's for men only. The breakfast buffet was also good. It's nice that you can freely use instant coffee sticks and tea bags.

I was woken up a little after 2 a.m. by a sudden loud noise in my room.
