Hotel Resort Inn Ishigakijima

I was in trouble because the hotel's automatic check-in didn't work... I called and a staff member opened the door, and I was able to enter my room safely. The bed sheets, towels, etc. were clean.

The most annoying thing about this hotel is the poor light blocking ability of the rooms. There are no blackout curtains, so your sleep is disturbed at dawn in the morning. Also, during my stay, there was a thunderstorm in the middle of the night, and the lightning lit up the room (although earplugs prevented the thunder), waking me up every time. The next annoying thing was checking in. The hotel was unmanned, so you were forced to check in by yourself by entering your details into the machine, but for some reason, even if you entered your reservation number as instructed on the screen, or the phone number you used when making the reservation, it was not accepted at all, and I ended up protesting by phone, and was finally able to check in. Incidentally, there was no information on the reservation review screen in advance that the hotel was unmanned. If I had known from the beginning that it was unmanned, I would not have chosen this hotel. I hope that the operators of this reservation site will improve this lack of important information in the future. The third annoying thing was the low temperature of the water for the shower and bathtub in the bathroom. I looked everywhere for the water temperature control device but couldn't find it, and gave up on the first day because I was late taking a bath. I called again the next day to protest, and was told that the temperature control device was located next to the guest room entrance, far away from the bathroom. If it's in such a ridiculous location, why don't they give some kind of information to the customer? In the first place, why do they have to set such a low temperature as the default in the first place? The guest rooms are relatively spacious, have facilities such as a range and a water heater, and are right in front of the bus stop, so it's a shame that the basic points of a lodging facility as mentioned above are not provided, even though there are many good points.

I stayed here overnight as I was unable to rent a car as I arrived after 8pm. It's very convenient as you can access it by bus from the airport and there are two large supermarkets right in front of it. I checked in using a machine and just had to put my key in the post when I left, so there was no waiting time which was great. It was disappointing that pots, plates, detergent etc. were already out of stock, probably because I arrived at night. (This isn't the property's problem, but the advance check-in URL sent to me by ******** did not display due to an error, so I had to enter it on site, which was a bit of a hassle.)

There was a supermarket nearby and a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so it was easy to get to the airport and the terminal. I was very satisfied! I was also able to get souvenirs at the San-A store right in front of the hotel! I was able to buy local products and they were cheaper than the souvenir shops.

I was planning to stay at the ANA Intercontinental Hotel from the next day, so I used this hotel for the night before. As an impression of using it, I thought that the price was relatively high despite the many restrictions. It's a location, but it's honestly subtle when you think about Ishigaki Island sightseeing. Considering the number of restaurants where you can go to remote islands and have dinner, I think it's definitely better to choose a hotel near the port. I didn't think the location was very good because this hotel is far from the port. There is only one bus that goes to the port every 30 minutes, and a taxi costs about 1,000 yen one way, so if you go back and forth frequently, it will cost you a lot of money. However, there is a San-A supermarket in front of the hotel and an Aeon next to it, so it is very convenient for shopping. The hotel rooms and facilities are standard and reasonably priced. The key to the room was an old-fashioned metal key, and the doorknob was rusty, and I needed a knack to open and close the door. I felt that the room was relatively clean, so I think it's okay if you're not too nervous. I don't know how this hotel was created, but I had the impression that it was originally a rental apartment and was converted into a hotel. The front desk of this hotel is open only from 12:00 to 21:00, and it is unmanned at night, so in case of emergency, it was stated that you should contact a nearby hotel of the same line. I don't think it will have much of an impact if it's a general usage, but I got the impression that the hotel has a lot of restrictions. It's a clean hotel, so there's no problem if you just stay, but I felt that the price was unexpectedly high. This time, I chose this hotel considering access to the ANA Intercontinental Hotel the next day, but since it was possible to stay at a hotel near the port in terms of price, I think I might not choose it under normal circumstances. In addition, there was hotel of the same level more nearer if we considered only access to Intercontinental. As a general lodging facility, this hotel is a good hotel and I recommend it. Even if it is a problem of location, there is no problem at all if you move around with a rental car based here. However, I personally feel that Ishigaki Island is a resort area that does not suit my travel intentions, as I want to relax without moving around too much.

Check-in went smoothly and no problem. At check-in, I was asked if I would like to use the washing machine. There is a bus stop and Sanei in front, and MaxValu and a convenience store are just a few minutes walk away, so the location is good. I don't use WiFi, so I don't know the speed.

石垣島マラソンに参加するために宿泊 チェックアウトが11時だったので、完走後にシャワーを浴びて着替える事が出来て良かった
